I'll put on some music and try to conga up some Saturday routines.
Cooler here yesterday and today so being in the sun was welcome this morning.
I had a baby and adult kookaburra in my tree this morning. Baby doesn't have its laugh completely sorted yet. Mostly baby just sat patiently watching the ground, or me. Patent fed it a worm and had a laugh to celebrate that, and later on baby found one of its own before flying out of sight down the far end of back yard.

Ivy, just for you, look here:

Hope that works. They crawl around neighborhoods, especially where there is sparse grass and lots of sand. They dig holes to live and bury eggs. Apparently they are endangered and we're not allowed to build where they are living, but we can pay a lot of money to have them moved. They can be as big as large round turkey platters. Unfortunately, they crawl across roads, many times cars stop and lift them to the other side.

Baby to bed. Let her stay up a bit since she had such a long nap. This is the "electronic child" with rain sound maker with fish projection on ceiling, monitor, aquarium-type electronic thing with wiggling fish and water noises hooked to the crib rail (makes sound and light but dims gradually and goes off after a time) a portable DVD player which keeps me from having to watch Mickey all day long. Sheesh! As hard as it is though, I am blessed to have her here for a bit.

Maybe I'll get more done tomorrow. We'll see.

Cue Hallelujiah Chorus LOUD!!!

My external hard drive with all my pictures and DD10's movies is now being recognized by my computer again!!!

AND the person I talked to at the Dept of Labor says that I can apply for unemployment based on reduction in hours.

I have just gotten back from a knit/crochet group at a yarn store. I bought some yarn for my next project. However, I am using it doubled with some stash yarn, so it is a partial declutter. The stash yarn needs to be paired with something easier to work with. I am going to watch an episode of Hogan while I sew a snap on a doll dress (that will finish it). Then, I think I will repair DD10's shirt (more sewing). If there is more time, I will crochet on a blanket square and then I will take care of the cats and go to BED!
