Thank you, Well Wishers.
I took my medicine, when needing to, did my prayers for others, myself, DH and our dfamily. Write in my journal, rested a long while. Downloaded some free books. DH is very tired. He went to the store, got a cute bag with a bow on it, of chocolate candy for the mail carrier. I wrote a card to him/her, whoever is delivering today, and DH delivered a bag of goodies to neighbors across the street on a different road. Known them since 1975. DH got firewood in to the bin, promised to strip the bed, so I can wash sheets, but he watched a holiday movie, is now snoring to a baseball talk show. Hopefully we'll get the sheets done by bedtime.
I wrote on 10 index cards, with a pretty sticker, a Bible Verse: Timothy 1:7 and wrote a word to focus on in 2013, which is "Discipline", and wrote 8 short goals. They're not hard ones to attain, so I kept them simple and attainable. I'll go put 1 in my purse, 1 in 2 separate desk drawers, and around where "my eyes" will see them only.

(Because DH hates seeing prompts like that.)

He doesn't need them, doesn't use them and doesn't want to see mine either. It's just not his thing.
DH brought the mail, I got a card from new parents to a baby I'd crocheted a gift for, but realized I never sent them a card. I got a note written and the card will go out tomorrow. I read 2 letters, to answer later and probably after Christmas Eve.
I got baby crochet out, to do on and off while I do hot spots and clean here and there.
I noticed, while reading my Nook last night, how I had 1 short free book I was reading, called "The 7-Day Doubt Diet," by Renee Swope. It's a companion to her larger book called, "A Confident Heart - How to Stop Doubting Yourself & Live in the Security of God's Promise." It's religious, but pertains to dieting, losing weight, and being in control by faith to do it. Ddil told me they're giving us $$ for Christmas and 1 small gift, so if their gift of $ will be $8, I have $2, and will be able to get the book. Also, it's great that it's before the New Year, when people, me included, to New Year's Resolutions. I've read about the book and enjoy the short companion book, so I'm sure I'll enjoy Swope's larger book. It's just coming to me at a perfect time in my life.
Tomorrow, after we deliver gifts, we'll come back home and I'll get the last of the hats wrapped, with cards and gifts inside the cards. Our son's hat is so gorgeous!

It's variegated brown, tan, and a darker brown on the bottom 2", then up from that, it's an off-white tweed-like looking yarn, and the top 2" is soft brown. I do have to admit it looks professional and it's odd that all 3 yarns are scraps from my stash. You never know what using up a stash of yarn can give you! I'm so happy!
I heard that the Mayans stopped the one calendar and started a new one with longer numbers and this is why their old calendar stops and makes it LOOK LIKE it's the end of the world, but it's not, really. I keep asking DH, "Is the end of the world supposed to come at 6 p.m.? Do you know what time it's going to happen? Are we going to just vaporize, or what?"

When I don't feel 100%, I have odd thoughts and funny questions.
Twins', What are you using grippers for?

I used to use grippers for pearlized snaps that went on shirts, and jackets. I was a seamstress back them.
Elly, I'm glad your headache's gone. I cannot have Ibuprofen or I get painful gastritis.

I've been using Ibuprofen on and off for a few days and it caught up with me.
Waving to
Okay, Harriet, Kally, Sunny, Dee, Kathryn, Scattered and have a great later afternoon and evening. I'm feeling better now.

Thank you so much for thinking of me. For those with snow, be safe, careful and stay warm, too.
