Hello Everyone!
Happy Birthday Lynlee!
Happy Birthday to OKay's dmom!
I was here yesterday morning wanting to cuop and post while waiting for dfam#2 to come for lunch. Before I could do that they arrived. When ds called on Sat. to say they would be coming early so they weren't out late because of going back to school and work from holidays, he said sandwiches were fine for lunch. But I already had a pork roast thawed for crock pot roasting, so we had a full cooked meal, which was very much enjoyed!
Downton Abbey....I watched for the first time ever last night, also. I really enjoyed it. One day last week HGTV had a special program on Highclere Castle and its family history. I have just finished reading Emma by Jane Austen, so it was interesting to compare the two eras some 100 years apart. Class attitudes were still very much evident.
Speaking of classes OKay, LO is getting wonderful experience with his teacher using those teaching methods.
I just puttered today straightening up the kitchen and some desk work to get ready for payday and the rest of the month.
Today was my dgd's 11 birthday. She is the last of the four children born between Nov 2001 and Jan 2002 in our family; a dgs and dgd to me and two dgsons to my dsis.

Re: MAKE IT HAPPEN MONDAY
Sunny, thank you once again for being on top of a birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYNLEE!
Tonight we were talking bathrooms and dh told me he will start the main bath after he finishes the master. Yeah! We looked at Home Depot online and really couldn't find a vanity we liked. So I told dh that I am going to empty the one we have and see if there is a problem such as water damage that I don't remember. Then I am going to clean it and use the wood renewal stuff we bought last year and see what it does. The more I think about it, the more I don't want to spend that extra money, if I can improve this one. Dh commented that we could refinish it also. Those options are worth thinking about. If we do keep it we will be getting a new counter/sink and new faucets.
I have, have, HAVE to work on that library. The main water turnoff is in there in an enclosed area and dh wanted to look in there. He starts down the hallway to it and I am saying you can't get to it right now. Would he stop, NO, so then I had to hear him gripe about it and I told him he wasn't telling me anything I don't know and I don't want to hear it. So tomorrow I need to get my errands ran and get started on that.
We had wanted to get a door that pivots open for the shower. They are so pricey. But dhs biggest concern is that curb deal that will keep the water from coming out on the floor, if he has a pivot door, he isn't sure how good of a support that will be. So he will need to research it. I was really surprised that he worked on more demolition tonight. He is working on the walls of the bathtub. Then there are rusted screws to hold the tub in place. He will have to use saws to deal with that.
The reason he wants to get both bathrooms done, is because we want to replace the carpet but he doesn't want to do it while we are in renovation mode.
Well I better get to bed, so that I can hit it tomorrow.

Lilac...just wanted to comment that we had one of those pivoting shower doors in the last house...All the water in the track at the bottom always ended up on the floor of the bathroom. I finally took it down and hung a shower curtain...no more wet floor!
