I've been doing a snail mail catch-up. 2 letters went out in the mail, now I have 2 ready for the mail tomorrow, but need to do dgrson-16.5 a congratulations card for becoming a Freshmen in the community college, when he'd ordinarily, like kids his age, be starting his Jr. year in H. S. I have 2 letters to go, but 1 gal waits so long before she replies and the other gal writes long 10-page letters, and I'm not "up" to answer either one of these pals tonight. I'm too pooped. Am doing laundry now.
Our day was cloudy, dry, and calm. The news said 6,900 lightning strikes happened for W. WA yesterday and we got over 2" of rain within 24 hours, too.
