Oh, my, I feel like I need to ((HUG)) many of you. So, ((HUGS)) to blessed, Kathryn, Harmony, Twins. I'm sure I've forgotten someone. I wish I could stay and comment more - I feel upset (along) with Kathryn re: the contract and harried with Harmony and Twins - all that traffic in the stores and on the roads and issues with temple. I wish ddolder hadn't made those comments to blessed, but it sounds like you gave her grade re: her intentions and her different physical abilities.
Ditto to everything that Helia said! (((Hugs))) to all villagers who need one.

I appreciate the hug. Feeling tired.

Was going to bake cookies for school cookie walk for teachers. Realized I gave my cookie sheet away. That's how often I bake cookies. Oh well, I had not promised anyone - just an extra thought. Wish I'd bought some from deli.

Made a few gift bows today. A few had to be affixed to work. So that will make it harder to carry packages. But not a big deal. It is supposed to be dreadful weather Sat. Cold precip, but not anything pretty, only wet and slippery! Icon shows that it will be all day long with no break. Sigh.

Report on Barbie dresses - excellent. This lady, at "Granny's Scrap Bag" shop, does a beautiful sewing job on her sleeved dresses, lots of handwork. She sent these super fast. I just wish I could have time for such a sweet activity as sewing doll clothes.

Tomorrow I will need to make deviled eggs. Then do my hair up tomorrow night and sleep on it. I probably should call ds and make sure he is on the same page.

You have kept me smiling today with all the b-day greetings! Hugs to all!

There seems to be a lot of hair coloring going on today in the village. I may have to go color mine too since the grayish roots are shining through.

Talked to DD and DS today. Heard from cousins via fb. Also talked to DB. Did laundry and dishes--the usual. NANCY, I am hoping to make a good mac n cheese like that on Christmas to go with our ham. Have been looking at recipes. Have always made it from a box.

Why, Harriet? Does he need to do up his hair too?

I missed the opportunity earlier when I posted to say I tooted my horn. I did at the guy who almost cut me off.

RRose, I'm sure glad you didn't get hit head on. Yikes!

Well, a little word with a customer over a subcontractor's charge had me down in the dumps. I can't stand it when people are irked at me. Much talking with DH about it, and I looked up a bunch of records in files, and I felt a little better. DH started another fire and that helped too.

I have the rest of my presents figured out, all but one. 3 to buy, another one to think about and get something. Home stretch. I asked DGS on the phone the other day what did he want for Christmas? Grandma, a pumpkin pie! Well, you know that's on my list now!

Everyone have a deep peaceful restorative sleep tonight. Then we'll all be able to hit the ground running tomorrow!

LOL, Harmony!

Better evening here. Dh and I went out to eat, then dkids were home by the time we got home. Had a decent evening w them and lit Hanukkah candles together.

Yes, tomorrow will be very busy day for me. Will need to hit the ground running for sure.

Harmony, I feel the same way when people are put out w me. Dh and I discussed tonight reducing our temple involvement and backing off a bit.

Echoing happy birthday wishes for Elly!

Thanks for village hugs tonight. I rec'd some hugs from ds also. He went w me when I walked Macs. Was nice to feel connected - he can be very self contained.

The play was fantastic. Alice through the looking glass. The staging was wonderful. There were jelly beans passed around to everyone and the sound of the wrappers became the sound of rain!

Dh and I ran into lots of people we know. A couple from my work at presbytery, a couple we know from the industry, a couple from our old village and a couple from our new building.

After we walked around downtown and up onto parliament hill to look at the Christmas lights.

Now to get to sleep.
