Re: Snow! Snow! Snow! Friday PWYC
The fires are just unbelievable… hard to even comprehend. So good that Canada and others are helping.
I haven’t been out in the snow either. Dgs went out and played for awhile, throwing snowballs at the house. He measured about 5” in various spots in our yard.
Tonight ds and Dgd came over and we ate supper together — Dgd had spaghetti-o’s, dgs had gumbo from our favorite Cajun place (frozen from last time I went over there) and ds and I had chicken stew (frozen from Labor Day.) Then ds and dgs went home and Dgd is spending the night.
I started crying during supper… I’m just edgy and nervous and depressed… (the kids weren’t at the table) but ds tries to make me see that worrying today just ruins today, and nothing bad is happening today, that it’s much better to take one day at a time. I know he’s right, and I am so thankful for him.
Anyway… 5 more sleeps and then the biopsy will be over, and I do pray that will be the END of it.

Tomorrow is another day.
