Another day of staying focused and within my chosen boundaries.
Success is in the small things.
Focus on the Fundamentals:
Success isn't about grand gestures alone, but about mastering the basics and building a solid foundation through consistent effort in small tasks.
Habits and Consistency:
Small, positive habits, when practiced consistently, can lead to significant improvements and ultimately, success.

*waving to everybodeeee!
I'm going to hop in here! I have a fitness back story but I'll save that for another time. Currently, just trying to get back to it after being sick. This is the end of week 4 of the nasty stuff and I'm starting to feel mostly normal.
Today's goal is do my short evening exercise routine - plank, push ups, squats & T-Tapp primary back stretch.
Oh.. and to eat well.

Smilelee… hurray, glad to see you!
I suffer from sever migraines and have a hiatial hernia which interferes with my health at times
I live in a community where I join friends 3 times a week to do video exercises. I am currently working on loosing weight and also do videos at home. Recently my lower back began hurting when I started back working in my gardens so have started doing daily back exercises
At the moment I am about to do a step video to get my daily steps in and have joined Nancy who sometimes walks inside her home to get her steps in. I have an open living room/kitchen so last night I added 2500 steps while walking indoors in my pjs and slippers

oo... that doesn't sound fun. I had severe migraines for 6 months when I tried to go back on birth control pills after ds/A was born. I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy. I still get ocular migraines. Thankful that those don't come severe pain or nausea - and they don't last very long. I have back issues too - mostly resolved - but that's a long story for another time.

Today included T-Tapp for me, too, Smile Lee. Brain, Body Fitness Floor DVD, using the 2nd workout on that one, which is not much more than 20 mins, I think. It is one that is a go-to, now, while I am supposed to limit exertion. Sometimes I do one of the youtube videos by Renee or Margaret, but not their long ones right now.
Eating was good. apple to start the day, and my lentil/rice/sweet potato meal later was delish. Leftovers of HRH's multi-veggies in his Impossible spaghetti was even better the second day.
Yes to joining Nancy and Ramblin' in appreciating intentional indoor walking.
That quote is good for me, too, LadyM.
That's great consistency, Kittykatt.

RRose, the pelvic floor exercises I do aim to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and improve bladder control. I use this leaflet available online, which has been developed by the British Association of Urological Surgeons:
http://www.baus.org.uk/_userfiles/pages ... female.pdf
(I also have this in jpeg format if the pdf won't play nicely!)
https://i.ibb.co/LN5ZfyZ/Pelvic-floor-XS-female-1.jpg
Basically it involves 10 "long squeezes" where you hold for up to a count of 10, rest for 4 seconds between each squeeze and then repeat, followed by 10 "short squeezes". And, of course, it should be a lifelong exercise, to ensure the improvement in is maintained. They are quick and simple to do each day
and I am very bad at remembering to do them without a daily reminder and some accountability
, hence why they have been (and are likely to be!

) my habit of the month for some time, to ensure the habit is truly engrained!

Thanks kittykat… I have the same problem. Are you seeing results?
Last night we ate out to celebrate Sweeties birthday. I had planned ahead and at salad, steak and zucchini along with a glass of wine. I expected a small bump up in my weight and was surprised to see a nice drop in it instead. I’ll take it
Yesterday I ate on plan, drank all my liquids and had 16K steps.
I have two left feet and my mini stroke many years ago has always made my coordination off. So I decided to challenge it. I love stepper board exercise, but am terrible at it… I found a video for beginners so I bought a step board and yesterday did 3 videos… each one teaching the simple steps at a slower pace and then each program built on the other. I loved it and I can do it!
I look at it as a double win as I am teaching my old brain new tricks
