Hi, all. I am happy to see you all! I went through my Inbox on the other board to see if I had kitkat's email address, but unfortunately I don't. I hope that she and decaf (and any other stragglers) find us.

I'm having a mostly leisurely day, so not much to post. I got Germane walked before the rain got going, and had a good phone visit with my dbrother. I have got to make some effort to get the kitchen under control to be ready to go back to payroll tomorrow.

Thanks Smile*lee for making the closing thread very visible on Sheforums.
Several indicated wanting to share email addresses, in case we need these to keep in touch. Costume lady (her family is very techy) created a site but I don't think many registered there, and she's on a big vacation.
I have created a word document in my computer for those who want to be able to keep in touch via email or "snail mail"

If I have missed anyone, please PM me on the old forum. Those who have sent emails will get a group email with the emails listed. I'm not sure what to do about the physical addresses. Most of them are from this year's Christmas card list, so those who want them can print them from the private message if they want to keep them I guess. Or email me and I can send it that way.

now, my other "news"
TADAs for today
Church - just me today. It was cold and I had mother out for 8 hours yesterday, so she was tired and we didn't want to brave the cold today either, so she stayed back in the Care Center
Lunch at local Food Coop deli with a friend from church. Good ham and stuffed french toast, plus fresh strawberries and fresh pineapple
Iced my sore foot
then I was cold so I followed the icing with a vary warm bath
Long Sunday afternoon nap (woke up 830pm!)
Took tylenol for my foot so I could be on it for a while
Loaded DW
Sat down to watch a little TV
Talked to mother a couple times
Reading a book about Florence Nightingale

Tonight -
unload DW when it's done (soon)
maybe do a little crochet
go to bed by midnight

Tomorrow
Bible Study
go to dfBS and have her carpenter show me how to use the generator he bought for her incase the power goes out.
Visit Mom at Care Center. there's a community choir singing in the afternoon.
Help her sort through her clothes, as she says she has too many there.
Take Mom to community meal for supper
Bring meal to dfBS
Bring Mom back to CC

Haven't explored this new site much yet. I appreciate that it's here and we can continue our friendships and sharing news.
