Dear St. Anthony, please help my SHE sisters find their lost items. St. Anthony, patron saint of lost items, is a dear friend and helps frequently. The trick is to relax and the first place you think of even if you have looked their 3 times, go look again.

Doggedly - we are taking a canal boat which is like a flat rectangular house boat you live on. We did it last year and FFB, I think we may becoming to England most summers now to do all of the routes. So much fun.

Glad tax items were found gma - enjoy the music evening - you have accomplished much.

Put load of wash in :D , strip bed :D ,change sheets :D shower and dress :D and eat :D just had the breakfast of a stressed woman, a protein shake with 4 bites of vegan gluten free sugarrfree strawberry cheesecake and a full sugar small chocolate dingdong cake!!!

Put on fresh sheets :D , clean out top closet :D , clean out sock drawer (still avoiding the socks)
Flip laundry :D and start another load, :D remake guest bed :D and store linens :D this feel so much better.

So now time to do bills :D and I will get back to that closet when I take load of laundry to fold. :D

Gather mail :D , pay bills :D , call att :D
Flip laundry :D and wash sheets, towels and bath matt :D .

Make dinner - roast the remaining veggies and put on top of fried polenta and goatcheese mashed cauliflower and topped with balsamic vinegar glaze :D All prepped and ready for oven.
Lay out clothes to pack, pack and refresh toiletries, pack backpack for flight
Make copies of all passports and paperwork, leave 1 copy here for R. Print itinerary
Buy Moulin Rouge Tickets

Tomorrow we have breakfast with friends, then home to finish up last minute things (need to get the dog a new bag of dry dog food to fill him up).

Dh is home and chilling while I cook, I’ll continue laundry (🤞) after we eat while we watch a tv show to unwind. That’s the plan anyway.

Dogged, is it a long way to your dbrother’s? Sounds like a nice getaway. Lol at the weather comment, we can’t go by the forecast because it never stays the same. We even got a foot of snow in January, that was weird but beautiful.

Lucylee, that bridge is hard on my nerves in the daytime. I thought night time would be better but it’s worse. It’s so dark I feel like I’m driving into an abyss. Idk where my fear comes from. The old bridge from Mobile to Baldwin County had open grates so I could see the water below the car as we rode over it and that may have been the start. I can imagine how terrifying that event was to you as a child.

That must have been frightening, lucylee. I can imagine being nervous on bridges after that.

WTG, Peaches

WTG, L.Ann. Enjoy your book.

That does sound like fun, CostumeLady. WTG on all that you got done.

I am guessing that Bama has packed it in by now. Lauralind and Gma might be along later.

I lounged for much longer than I intended, but at least my joints feel ready for the next round. There's still plenty of time to get packed; I just won't be leaving a clean apartment. I think that I started out with IGAD syndrome, but then it stretched into It's My Vacation And I'll Vacate If I Want To, LOL.

I am going to do a little duo, update MFP, and then I'll go to bed to read. I only really did 3 of my goals. The AR Exam is still not fnished, and i didn't work on the desk.

That does sound traumatic to anyone, especially a child, lucylee.
I recognize that thought pattern, Doggedly. Maybe your joints needed to rest.
L Ann - I need to post on the diet site!
Our weather forecasts are usually in the general ballpark, Bama! That's scary to see the water below a bridge as your are driving over it. At least you have the star ID now.
Have a wonderful trip, CL!

We have a 5 mile bridge in Michigan over the Straits of Mackinac that connect Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. It's the only way to get to Michigan's Upper Peninsula from the lower peninsula by road. Apparently, it's the longest suspension bridge in the western hemisphere. If you're not comfortable driving over it, there's a service you can pay for that will provide a driver for you. Dh and I are both OK driving over it, but we always determine who will do it when we set out on a road trip to the UP. The scenery from the bridge is stunningly beautiful in good weather! The inner lane is a grate so you can see the water below; I find that a little nerve-wracking.

Next:
- update MFP
- duo
- get ready for bed

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - up a bit
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website
- back exercises
- dressed to jog
- short jog in park
- s2s and self care
- squeegeed and wiped down shower
- darks: finished folding and p/a
- phone call from hospice chaplain
- gathered stuff and otd ~ 1
- visited Mom
- late lunch
- lights washed, dried, shirts folded and p/a
- made the bed
- reclaimed the kitchen
- payroll: graphic updated and messages sent to students eligible for the exit test
- payroll: some back and forth with messages re: exit test
- dinner: turkey burger, corn and black bean salad
- after dinner clean up
- text JY: when is my haircut appt. on Friday?
- text KY: dinner out on Saturday + get together earlier on Saturday?
- updated WW and Noom

Itasca State Park is the headwaters of the Mississippi. I look forward to going there again sometime. It's about 3 hours North. I love teh Mississippi, it's a beautiful river.

2 trips to the hospital today for dfBS - 1st time to meet with Palliative care staff re advanced directive for health care. Important for me to be in on the conversation, as she has named me her health care advocate. She has no children, only a brother 16 years younger and 2400 miles away. 2nd time to take her home. We had supper, I went to pick up her new meds, then local tornado warning sirens went off. She was relieved that I was with her. There was no tornado, there was a nice, but heavy, rain for about 20 minutes. I got her all set up for what she needs before bed, and I will check on her tomorrow. I told her she can call me during the night if she needs.
There is a late morning phone call visit with a doctor tomorrow.
I think I will go to bed early tonight and see if I can get up in the morning and accomplish a few things.

Hi all. I'm here. Not going to do any more but thought I would check in. I found the tour pictures on that site Gma. It does look beautiful.

I don't know if I have ever been on super long suspension bridges. Well there's one in the north of Alberta over the peace river that is. I doubt it's anything near the length of those. I really liked the look of the port Mann bridge in Vancouver.

Well I guess it turned out to be a good day. Brain fog from the melatonin lasted all day. I made a coffee after work and had a decent rest before dh came home. Made supper. Did some laundry. Ate. And walked Casper after supper.

Well that's a positive thing so far with the prong collar. I still have to make a bit more effort with start and stop. Dh thinks I need more of a command on the pull of the collar. He might be right but if he goes off to the side to the ditch he will stop when I stop and yank it. Then he seems to come nicely.

A couple more walks like that and I can bring him to meet ds new puppy. And see my dad. Dad likes him but he's much too excitable when dad isn't up to it. If I can get him calmer...

I guess there's one thing I have to do in put sheets back on ds bed. And maybe I should water my front bed. Then it's early to bed and hopefully more awake tomorrow.

I am going to follow your good example and go to bed early, Gma. I have clothes packed, except for things like jackets and shoes. I'll pack toiletries and everything for Germane tomorrow. And the fantasy of leaving a sparkling apartment didn't happen because I'm still the same person who made it messy, LOL.

Good night, all.

--oops, there's Lauralind posting at the same moment.
I'm glad that you had a good day, and that the prong collar seems to be helping.
