Gma, you for sure made the right decision to "forget" fast day when you had homemade cake and ice cream, and friends to celebrate with.
Bama, how do you stroll in Costco? That place is a zoo! Luckily, the animals are well behaved.
You have made good use of your day off, Laurlind. Hopefully, all of the bedding will be dry before you have to go to bed.
(((helia and dmother))) You do so well at keeping her comfortable, which at this point is the important thing.
Have a good night, L.Ann. You have had a busy day.
I got my OAS cheque deposited, and I did make it to Costco. Man, that place is big and confusing! I got my membership card, and I did go in to get one of those famous rotisserie chickens that I have heard about for years. I passed the bakery section and quickly realized that it is not for me. They sell things in such big units that I will never get through them before they mould. I found the meat, and found that it is more expensive than my much-maligned grocery store. I found the rotisserie chicken and they are big and plump and less expensive than the grocery store. Worth the trip! I found the cheese section on my way out, and found that some cheeses are more expensive than my grocery stores, but others are a bargain. I bought a wheel of cambozolo and a pound of parmesan. Both much better priced than at the grocery store. And then I began the mammoth undertaking of leaving the store. I am so glad that I brought my superpower with me, so that I could at least park near the store.
I just have to clean up after Germane, and then my choppers are set for that chicken.
