Don’t tell the others but he’s my favorite.
I do treat them all equally but he’s a soft spot in my heart, maybe because his breed is known to be anxious and I can relate. He and thumper got a chicken breast tonight. Tomorrow I’ll cook them a meal out of the rest.

It sounds like Beau is your heart dog, Bama. We're good to all of our dogs, but every once in a while that special one comes along and takes a permanent home in your heart.

I don't seem to have any energy at all today, so I'm going to head to bed and read my ebook. Good night!
