Harmony...the area where my foot and toe meet is purple. It will take up to a week to know if the shot worked. Dr has decided that arches for my shoes may help. I wore them years ago and have orn OTC ones for years. If my insurance covers it the doc will make them. If not I will buy OTC ones his office sells. They are the same price that w world sell, but made of better material. I can have this shot in my foot once every 10 months or so. If I don't get relief or the shot wears off sooner, I am looking at a two joint replacement. That doesn't sound like a fun time to me. I am ok to exercise, in fact my doc encourages it. Arbil may become my new best friend. Only time will tell, but my guess is this toe joint replacement is in my future. If not now then later.
