Scattered ~ As I told Ivy, Apron Day is a holiday that Harriet and I made up because we both like aprons. For me, it means a day when I don't have to leave the house, so I can get caught up on chores. It also is usually a day I don't have to see anyone else but DH, so I don't have to put on makeup and can give my skin a rest.
Apron Day went well here today, managed to work through quite a few cards.
Today I've also spent a significant amount of time preparing for tomorrow night's sewing group meeting. I had some reports to complete and, since it will be our annual election of officers, a speech to write.

Not my favorite thing, but required to keep us legal. Once that boring business part is over, the rest of the meeting will be fun.
I started a couple loads of laundry late this evening. Waiting for the dryer to buzz on the first load so I can hang up a few things. The clothes still in the washer won't wrinkle (or I don't care if they do) so I'll toss them in the dryer first thing tomorrow morning.
We've been getting political calls and messages on our machine for MONTHS. I am so tired and disgusted by them. I took a nap this afternoon for an hour and a half, and came downstairs to find 5 messages from that short a time. Typically we have had at least as many if not more callers that hang up rather than leave a message. We do not have caller ID so we screen all calls with the machine. As I said, it started months ago with a couple of calls each day. They've increased until the past week or so we've gotten 8-10 messages EVERY DAY including Sundays, plus as many hang ups. This is not persuading anybody, it is ANNOYING.
