OKay...Sorry some of your decorations were ruined. I have all ours in big plastic tubs, too. Our storage area is in the laundry room which is a semi-outside room. Accessible from inside, but it has a wooden louvered door which is kept padlocked and at the other end a steel security screen door that has a key lock and a deadbolt. So being outside it has no heat or air conditioning, cardboard boxes don't last long in our heat/humidity.
Nancy...Could you get homework assignments ahead for the week directly from the teacher? Cowinkie's system sounds good!
Thank you Harriet for dgs7's b'day wishes. We didn't get a chance to call him today, so we'll talk to him tomorrow.
We moved all the furniture from the living room except the entertainment cabinet and the (sleeper) sofa, both too big & heavy. I cleaned the walls, windows and woodwork (hey -- the 3 W's), vacuumed the carpet good. Dh got the rug scrubber out this evening to clean in there, dining room and hallway. He didn't get but a 2 ft. square done when he hollered for me to come quickly. The motor sounded odd and smelled funny, then I could see sparks coming from underneath, so I pulled the plug and stopped it. Out it will go on Monday morning for trash pickup. It was at least 15 years old and we got our good use out of it. I think we'll make a trip to W-M in the morning to price a new one.
I think I'll go lay down and read for just a little while before I rest my eyes! Sweet dreams everyone!
