Never did get a nap but did finish the three rooms that were undone. And I've got 90% of the kitchen counter back too. Must tell dh where I put the playing cards because I won't remember but if two of us know....

After dh got something sent off he was in a better mood. So we went together for the pizza and mail. The book I ordered on Tuesday night was waiting for me (a preaching resource for Lent) as well as other, less interesting, mail.

We watched a movie while eating dinner and then dh did up the dishes and put out the garbage. It is at 32 now and rain/snowing.

I think we are off to bed now.

FNG was all here tonight. We had the whole gang so our little home was full. Heart wrenching news shared. A FNG member that I've known all my life (was next door neighbors growing up) found out this week that his cancer returned. They don't have all the test results back yet, but enough of them to know it is worst than serious. What can you say? He knows what he is facing. I try to think what I would want others to say to me if I was in his place. Sometimes I think I wouldn't tell anyone.

I'm watching football game on TV. DSon's & friend are there. What's my chances of seeing them on TV? Friend has been posting FB pictures of DSon in press room....another of him being hugged (mugged?) by mascot....

got lots of thinking done about what I want for the future and how to move in that direction (my d dad always had a 5 year and 1 year goal - he used to ask me where I wanted to be in 5 years and I keep that in mind)

DH encouraged me to watch a movie he'd started watching and I have it now but I can't get into it. Hun ger Ga mes. Too much fighting. Blek!

Interesting about timing the cards and feeling success if a certain number of cards are done. I don't have times on my things, it wouldn't do me much good because I am interrupted all day long with all sorts of things, telephone calls, business chores, dh, ddog...

But what has me shaking my head is how long I stay working at everything, virtually until I can't do any more and must sit down to rest. Some things needed caught up because I didn't keep up as well this past year, and that coupled with my busiest time of the year has me in this spot. Other stuff I got done today:

I got those dishes washed.
I filed a lot of papers in the office.
I made out a statement.
My friend from church called and that used up a lot of time.
Went to H-D to return something and buy another for DH.
Stopped at WM for a bunch of veggies for a veg. tray I'm making for tomorrow's funeral (I'm helping too).
Shopped for a little while, I got myself a couple things. In my cleaning up my purse mess I found another gift card I'd not used.
Home, washed & chopped all those veggies. 40 people coming.

Well that's it. I'm going to bring the ladder in and start taking down decorations.

Lynlee, sorry about your computer troubles. I had to reset my mozilla today, have no idea how I got all that stuff on their home page but it was making it slow. Don't know how I figured that out, either, but it's better now. I'm glad you're back.

Blessed you might consider photo bucket if you just want to share photos. my experience with p/c photos and blogger have not been the best.

Granny duty is over.

Dishes are going chickens are in the door to the run is open for tonight b/c the roo had been pecking the hens so H. said to try this. It's not supposed to be as cold. They all went in on their own tonight did not have to heard them in the past couple of days. Got three eggs today only one green one this week.

Two family things tomorrow don't know if we will do them or not.
Dd is going on va. later in the mo. we have more than usual granny duty so if I get swamped and don't post for a bit that's why just a bit of heads up.
