Laura, as we use links here for photos, rather than posting the actual picture, I now just li k to my Amazon Photos account. I find a picture that's suitable, ask Amazon for the link, am copy and paste. (I'm still learning how to give my links a nice title, rather than just show the link! )

Cold and raining this week.
It's not as fun to be outside here.

I have weeded by the patio this morning.
Got the suckers pruned off the tree in front
that took two sessions and I got it cleaned up also.
It does look better yea!

Hmm interesting. I have actually never saved any of my photos off my phone. One of these days I should or I could have a problem.

So we ended up planning the garden different. We decided we should use dad's set up. He has a beautiful greenhouse with raised beds and an attached bigger part with ground soil. It actually works really well but he wasn't going to plant cause he can't do it himself. There's a garden section too. So we can put tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers there. I'll keep a few here too. Then we'll do beans and corn and carrots. Potatoes outside. Here well do onions and leafy greens. Cabbage family works well. I've got herb seeds too.

I forgot to buy soil....

I have pruned some roses by the west gate.
Irises are just past their prime.
Seeds are pretty much done falling now.
Squirrels have been designated as clean up crew I delegated that to them especially the ones
on the roof gutter covers!
I weeded a bit just after lunch.

It's a day late, but I should comment that we had 3 mallard ducks in our backyard yesterday after 4 days of non-stop rain.

I finally remembered gloves to pull a pocky weed out front yea!

Gardening fail!
I planted a bunch of seed like $20 worth of em.
Only Sunnies in front and kale in the back came up.
Curly kale plant the bugs got to one.
Hurmpf!
I do better with real plants but have not been able to grow cuke plants in the past.

The produce stand in my neighborhood will help!!!

I got the two larger tomato plants in the ground.
They were struggling in the large pots.
One from a cutting is growing roots in the window sill is now in the ground yea!

I have been out in the yard off and on today got some roses cut back just a bit for a better walk way through the gate on the west fence line.
I weeded some weeds out by the back fence line I keep thinking I got em all but nope and have to go back again for more.
Broke down the two 1" branches that came down in yesterday's winds.
