Just checking in ladies ~ DH has been in and out of the hospital 5 times since early May and it's making healthy habits difficult to follow on the daily. Every time I would leave the room is when a doctor decided to show up. So, my plan for walking the halls and eating near my plan imploded :? However, I had my own little stint visiting the Emergency Department for sudden, inexplicable high blood pressure 220/121 ... the ED nurse said she sees this all the time with caregivers. Long story short, I had some tests, found a few things, and hopefully a few tweaks in diet, with some temporary supplementation, will help bring things round to right! Though I do have to keep a food diary for the next couple of months to determine if there are more tweaks that need to be made. The really good news is this will get DH back to eating the way he is supposed to be since I'm not making two different meals for us at each mealtime :D

⭐Move my body in June = AM walks=16, Exercises=18, PM walks=15, 30-day average = 6153 steps, 11 hours with 250+ steps,

I cried UNCLE and made a doctor's app to get my hip checked. The hip pain on right side has steadily been getting worse until it now affects my ability to walk even short distances.

I am being intentional in giving my hip pain area a rest for 4 days (until doctor appt). That means my daily walk count, step count and hourly movement count will be taking a huge drop. If this experiment works to relieve the pain, it will be worth it. If it doesn't work, I tried something and learned from it. I am hopeful that it will work but am counting the effort a WIN either way.

LadyM my trainer is having me to several stretches that help both hips. If you google pretzel stretch, half kneeling hip shift, glute bridges, figure 4 glute bridges, V stretch (sitting on floor, lets in a V) and butterfly stretch you should find them. Try them gently (cause no harm) but they might help if your pain is similar to mine.

This a.m. hit my lowest weight thus far. Now Medicare doesn't cover Zepbound, the weight loss med I've been using. Only 12 pounds lost but I'm out of obese range.
