Getting 10k+ steps
Not weighing every day

Drank my water
Exersize’s

Today is my cardio drumming class. It’s tons of fun, an hour long and I usually get 8K steps in..win/win

Working to get into another pair of pants… far more fun than stepping on a scale each day.

Talk to a gal while walking yesterday who had a weighted vest on. I have on but have t worn it in a while. Asked if it’s helping her loose weight and she told me she’s lost 40 lbs since the first of the year.

My vest is now sitting next to my front door… we shall see

While walking this morning I realized that I am showing signs of being depressed. I recognize the symptoms from decades ago when I had to take prescription meds for 3 months to get me through it. Depression is real and I have no problem taking meds if needed. Acknowledging the problem is a good place to start.
I think my depression is coming from the "long goodbye" with the continual care of DH. Those of you who have been through this or are going through this experience know well the increase load it places. This most likely isn't a short-term experience but could be decades so I need to prioritize taking the best care of myself.
EVERYONE has struggles and challenges in their life. The reason behind these struggles may be different but the ability to come here and acknowledge them in a safe place is a relief. iYKWIM

It is just what I need to focus on . Me VS Me. Daily improvement.

LadyM … I took Zoloft for year for my migraine… they help me sleep which is a trigger for my headaches.

When I saw my neurologist a few months ago I asked him to increase the dosage for the reasons you mentioned. He agreed and doubled it.

You are a smart woman and no shame for reaching out for help considering all you are dealing with.This journey is a long and difficult on… with many twist and turns along the way.
