Developing a declutter habit is my H&F focus in June. I will be posting daily progress in Sort, Tidy, Declutter thread.

Established healthy habits =
⭐Sleep = 7hr 35min average 30 days
⭐Hydration = 120oz+
⭐Cronometer = 351 days logging, 84 mineral/vitamins, 30-day average = 1202 calories, 34% protein
⭐Move my body in June = AM walks=17, Exercises=20, PM walks=15, 30-day average = 5917 steps, 10 hours with 250+ steps,
⭐Better Bedtime routine during June = 18
⭐Weight loss is at an average 30-day pace of -1.78% resulting in a total 16.13% body weight removed since 7-5-2024

After 3 days of greatly reduced movement and being extremely careful of my posture & watching my foot action when taking a step...... the hip pain has returned. It is in a different area than before. I don't think I have wasted my time, effort and focus over the past 3 days because I have learned much. AND because I have tried everything that I can think of to do, I am more open to hearing what the doctor recommends tomorrow.

LadyM, did you try any of the gentle stretches I mentioned? I can pinpoint the area affected by stretching.

My weight on Friday was the lowest it's been I think, and I tried on some pants yesterday from my slimmer days, and they fit me again! Of course, my eating the last twenty four hours has been off.

I'm sorry for not responding. Thank you for the advice and suggestion! I did go through the list of exercises and try them. I have been using an assortment of stretching exercises for several weeks to try to get relief.

I decided to replace my shoe inserts even though I didn't think there was anything wrong with them. I was STUNNED when i removed the inserts to find they were switched and in the wrong shoes. The left foot insert was in the right shoe and visa-versa the right foot insert was in the left shoe. HOW AND WHEN did that happen???!?!?!
When I put the new shoe insert into the correct side, I instantly felt the difference. Could using the wrong shoe inserts cause hip pain? hum.....

That could cause hip pain, LadyM. Shoes and inserts change your gait and it's all connected up.

LadyM no wonder you had hip pain. I'm happy that you have discovered about the wrong shoe inserts and have ut them right again. Our health is so important.

Lady M, the wrong shoe inserts could definitely cause your hip pain. Twins is right when she said they affect your gait. I wear orthotics in my shoes and I just "know" when they are worn or need "tweaking" as, among other things gs, my hip, knee and back pain comes back!
