Kittykatt, I love seeing all of your hearts. I look forward to seeing what you pick as a replacement for the light box. I copied you on the sit/stand exercise and it really has helped.

I've done my exercises for today: 24 hearts

I've done 30 minutes with the lightbox: 23 hearts - I've stopped now, as the days are longer and lighter, and I no longer need it😀

Bama, my new habit is to clear the kitchen table once a day. It's supposed to have jist a tablecloth on it with my wooden fruit bowl in the centre. However, it seems to become a dumping ground for "stuff" (yesterday wasn't too bad, but I cleared away DH's magazine he was reading at breakfast, Freddie's harness, and some tupperware that had been left there to air after going through the dishwasher) which drives me nuts, and makes the whole kitchen look untidy. I need to get into the habit of clearing it every, day, so stuff doesn't build up there, and I feel happy when I walk into my kitchen. (If DH could also be trained to put stuff away, that would be wonderful, but I'm not holding my breath!)

Kittykat::: I have a large island that separates my kitchen from my living room so it becomes a focal point in my home. I really try to keep it cleared as well.

Yesterday I was in the middle of preparing my lunches for the week and all sorts of stuff spread all over it… wouldn’t you know it? There was a knock on the door and one of my healthcare nurses came to visit.

Oh well, it is what it is.🙃

That’s a good one, kittykatt. I have that issue as well. Shall I copy you again… :lol: It does seem to help when I know someone else is dealing with the same thing. Right now my table is covered in brass items, mail, some decor (some belongs there, some does not).
Also, like ramblinrose, my “island”, more of a peninsula here, is covered in boxes that I am packing for Hollywood or moms house, a rechargeable hand saw, a box of stained glass decor, among other things.
Y’all are giving me the itch to work on those. :D

We are one week away from new month so I am starting the thought process to select a habit to focus on next month. I have a couple habits that has suffered over time from loss of focus. Am I willing to put in the time and effort to bring them back up to top tier? Hum....

I opened and dealt with about 10 boxes on the table so it’s looking better. I didn’t get to the peninsula. Progress, not perfection. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

Bama, I'm feeling very encouraged that other people have a similar kitchen table issue too! I feel if I can just get it clear once a day, then hopefully, it won't have a chance to get too bad!😀
