making applesauce right now. so kitchen is a mess
1:32 pm still making applesauce and I did make a apple pie filling for winter

going a little bonkers of being home all the time with dh not feeling well.

dd21 isn't coming home like she thought. so dd15 and I will carve our pumpkins.

thank you dindiana. He has a huge weight on his mind. Still worried the cancer is there.

I am cooking soup now and ready to do clean up again in the kitchen. the 2nd load of dishes is done.
the applesauce is cool enough to store. ended up with 4 (four) loads of dishes in dw. and some hand washing.

thank you dindiana..he is worried the cancer is still there and you know. It's hard knowing that this gorilla in the room or in dh's body will dictate what will happen in the next year. I don't want him to go through this worry but it is out of my control and I accept that.

dh and I got the shade for the bedroom.. went on long drive... store wasn't there and found a store near our house.

pick up golf net this am (someone else did)
moved rug into dining room again and other one in family room.
and put away only in frontroom/dining room/kitchen/family room.
dusted frontroom including chair rail and pictures and knick knacks, cleaned up dh's unnessary medical equipment, made a donation from that room. cleaned off the window ledges etc. cleaned lamp shades with sticky roller, looked for cobwebs and nothing - whole room done . dh also washed his blankets on hosp. bed. everything put away
today we have high winds and I am happy I closed off the back yard over the last month.

dd15 is off to school, dh is resting, my laundry is resting all over my bedroom floor separated.
I have to get back to doing laundry every day to keep caught up.

bills (as soon as I go downstairs I will throw that on the dining room table and get to it a little by little today - I think it is because I have some big bills and I don't want to look at them... remember it is my responsibilty and I am in control of our money and have to be frugal) some more to do
call doctors: mine , dh's radiologist , dh neurologist?, dh's dentist
find out what happened with the seminar I am to attend... I paid but have not recieved anything in the mail
rinse one shelf in refridgerator /toss an item that is over due
look up confirmation information

do room by rooms (but go to rooms I missed first) this is a superfiscial job
front room ,laundry room dh wants his laundry to stay downstairs as he gets tired going upstairs , my bedroom , dd15's bedroom , dd21's bedroom (a surface grab) , girls bath , my bath , powder room , basement , front hall some but more needs doing , garage mom bought a new tool for us so tossed the angles leaving 4 of each in drawer... tempted to toss all but will have to wait and see and more put away done , my car , then go back to dining room , kitchen dishes put away from last night, next load washed and put away-cleaned sink well, cleaned counter and table, put away, washed window above sink inside only (took longer then I thought), family room (turned out to be a bigger job then I thought)

replaced new shade in family room ... dh wanted to keep the old shade as "it is still good". I tossed it as it is yellowed and has rust spots. I liked it but the difference between the old and new was amazing. I think you just get used to seeing things the way they actually are supposed to be.
hung up plates in kitchen (I have had for 27 years and in this house I haven't hung them up (10 years). they are now up.
struggling picking out colors for family room/kitchen.
made noodle dough for flieshnacha

call mom: re pictures again so I can get my christmas cards done.. called her but she is going out of town today. so call her again friday or thursday. I will put cards away in christmas for next year.

our pumpkins are now gone one for each family worked out well!
We have rain it's a good day for doing some thing about the stuff on the desk!

Nancy... did you grow pumpkins this year? I miss doing that. how fun for dgrkids that you gave them the pumpkins!

dd21 came home last night for the night only. some of her room mates are having drama and she thought since she had to finish a big paper it would be benefiscial to come up and chill out and work.
so this morning I have a apple tart in oven.

today: going to dmil to see uncle who has survived a huge surgery. (leave at 10 am - about an hour away). I still laugh how if I drove an hour away in the country I was in Iowa and all highway; here it is all city and even though mileage wise it is short the traffic takes forever.

party city: dd15 didn't pick out a costume yet. I have always sewn it or she has made it.. I don't think she really thought about it.

we haven't carved pumpkins yet so tonight is the night.
