I did eat more yesterday and was rewarded with a drop in pounds overnight. Of course, might be other things, including the workout and those steps. We'll see if it holds up tomorrow! Starting on Monday I won't have access to my scale. I have a streak of 60 days that I've weighed myself and recorded in my spreadsheet. Last misses were our trip to FL in January for a wedding.

So tracking here is not really working. I don't think that is going to be a reward system for me. I've tried habit threads and just can't be consistent. Oh well I will just use it for my running appointment list.
Oh wait I forgot to add mom's appointment. Made her a dr appointment to check some things. Completely new doctor we have a couple of new ones. I think I will see though. She's was having some pain a few days ago. Digestive I think. It came and went a few times. If it doesn't come back I am not sure what the appointment with a brand new dr that doesn't know her will do.
I did get my lab work done. So heart for that. I just have to do a couple tests I need to bring back in but when it's open and I can before work.
So heart for
- booking something or attending something

- eating right
- drink water

WTG on the accomplishments LadyM, KittyKatt and Nancy! I love the encouragement and focus here. Wishing I could get my head around tracking what I eat like LadyM, and be consistent like KittyKat, and keep plugging away with 11K steps like Nancy.
I had 6300 steps yesterday - a rest day for exercise but I ate well. Perhaps there is something to eating more, LadyM. I was rewarded with another pound off the scale this a.m. - gets me back to my lowest 10 day average of lost weight since starting Zepbound.
Of course, I won't be weighing daily on trip, and may be eating catch as catch can. Need to plan to get some steps in somehow (a few laps around the library now and then, and stretch?).
Lauralind, we're always here when you need a ear to listen or to tout your accomplishments or share. Monthly thread. LadyM is a regular, KittyKatt now also, and the rest of us run through here now and again.

My food plan for yesterday didn't happen as I expected. I experienced an episode of low blood sugar and quickly ate carbs to raise BS and protein to hold it. I ended up with 1389 calories and 37% protein yesterday.
This morning the scales bounced up a pound as expected from eating those extra carbs and calories.
I am getting excited about the new month. I have been improving the step count and hourly steps this month. My monthly average includes the first part of the month when they were still low. The new month won't have those lower numbers pulling my average down.

Just checking in and prepping my healthy habits for April. The only snag I may hit to posting & logging meals is with all the traveling next month. I'm heading back home after the birth of Grandbaby#10 and then up north for my Goddaughter's baptism. So I think I'm going to try and keep it simple for April, then add more for May.
I used to be a meal planner and I liked it, but with hubby being sick, I can only plan a certain amount. That is going to be one of my goals for May after the traveling is complete - planning a little more for myself meal-wise. It was rough going from cooking for a crowd (seven at the smallest less than two years ago!) to cooking for two. The habit is mainly to reduce frustration than it is due to nutrition. I do fairly well on that front simply by keeping only ingredients in the house
