I almost caved and ate a cookie but talked myself out of it and made myself a ginger/turmeric/cinnamon tea.
I still struggle with sugar cravings, daily, but so far I’ve been able to stay away from it.
Sweetie and I are going to a matinee on Wednesday to see the show Cats. Lunch is served before the show and the food there is delicious. All sorts of wonderful desserts, and ice creams with every topping you could ever imagine. That will be a very interesting day for me.
Same for this coming Sunday Easter dinner. We are going to the country club to eat Easter dinner with our friends and the food there is also delicious. They are known for their dessert so I will have to stay away from that as well. Their cookies are outstanding so maybe I might try and eat one if it has my favorite kind there. Otherwise, I should be OK we shall see.
Of course I have an Easter dress to wear that I haven’t been able to get into so I’m looking forward to wearing that on Easter day. Perhaps that will give me enough motivation to stay on course.

I wish I had done better with this month habit, but on the other hand I improved so much this month. I missed 17% of the time which isn't great, but it does meet my bottom line to improve habit up to at least 80% of the time. Ideally, I would do it perfectly all the time, but that isn't realistic for me. If I put that high of goal I would eventually mess up, then get discouraged and quit trying.
Stay curious. Challenge assumptions. Success loves persistence.

My 5 daily habits, tracked on an index card near my bed : MR - basic morning routine - Move C/W - either Cardio or Weights, daily - MicroMove - tiny times of movement at payroll or during the day - Time for me - to read, maybe write, maybe think, maybe journal - K - pelvic floor exercises, 1 minute minimum, at bedtime usually.
