Bright or Early Sunday PWYC

Well I was up bright and early. I've already been out this a.m. to breakfast with dh and ds. I usually beg off of the 8 a.m. Sunday breakfasts but it's so much easier to be up early when the sun rises so early, even with our west-facing bedroom.
What are you doing today that either BRIGHT or EARLY or both?

I was up at 5:30 this morning.
Walked around the back yard and got a yt vid. of my 4 colors of holly hocks while the light was great!
Then watered and sipped coffee and watched a squirrel.
Still have a bit of sniffles so am thinking it was a good choice to not go to the party yesterday afternoon.
Had a good talk one the phone with dd b/c he plans fell through.
Today fed ddoggo.
Thinking when the neighbor borrow goats to eat stuff I might be able to give em apples.
I knitted three rows.
Ate a portable bast.
Opened up the house as it was a bit stuffy and aired it out with the fans.
Next up journaling prob. on the deck.
Walked 8:00 and it's warm and will need to be leaving sooner next week.
Waving to all who follow.

I was up early. Not horribly early but it was before 8 a.m.
I burned some cardboard out at the firepit. There was NO wind but it had rained. There has also been lightning over Lake Ontario.
I have quite a list for today. Dh complained that I've been waking him up deliberately the past few days. I've been VERY quiet whenever he nods off. He came out of the bedroom within a minute and immediately apologized. He had a low sugar this morning but had some orange juice and that really helped. I also bought a bag of candy at the dollar store yesterday and he had one. I'm going to have to call the doctor's office to find out if dh should be adjusting his insulin and by how much.
Supper tonight will be cabbage rolls and pierogies. I am currently boiling all the eggs in the house. (16) so we can have egg salad sandwiches for lunch and I want to make a potato salad later today. I will have 2 hard boiled eggs for my breakfast.
This morning I asked dh about all the welding stuff. He said it could all go to the hazmat building at the landfill. I think I could probably sell all of it to a welder or a mechanic. Dh insists that he will be able to use it, so he doesn't want to sell it.

Good morning! Up early here, too. I'm ready for church, but we don't need to leave for well over half an hour. I'm reading today, and DH is assisting with communion. I'm less than thrilled with my reading for today -- it's good, and not difficult either in terms of theology nor in phrasing, but this thing must appear in the lectionary multiple times because it feels like I just read it.
We have plans to play games with P&K today, though we're starting a little later and finishing a little earlier than usual. For us, it's chores that need to be done and a Stanley Cup game to be watched; I don't know why they need to be done early, but it doesn't matter. We're happy to get together for however long we can.
DH had his camp stuff sprayed with tick repellent yesterday and is well on his way to packing for that -- he leaves for camp just as soon as we get home from the game convention. I need to start packing for the convention -- laundry is one of today's chores. Other than that, I'm expecting a pretty uneventful Sunday. I hope you all have a lovely day!

Good morning
The changes made to DH dresser are already paying off today. It is so easy to know what is happening when things are organized. Today DH changed his underwear but not his socks. When I brought it to his attention, he was sure that he changed his socks too. Nope. Now it is easy to keep up with. It is important because DH is in high risk for amputation being a diabetic with family members that it happened to.
Today's project is decluttering, clearing and deep cleaning both of the dining room tables. Hum...should I try to do both in the same day? That might be too much. I will adjust my goal to do one table and the chairs. I want to flip the table & chairs over and clean well the underneath and legs.
The daily load of laundry is happening. It is on the spin cycle now.
Last night wasn't a great night sleep due to teenage antics. DS17 and 5 friends went to the big city to ride electric scooters in the downtown area that is known for its night life. I was not comfortable with a bunch of country kids going to big city areas they are not familiar with. What could go wrong?
It all ended okay but the night included DS17 and me having a disagreement....a discussion....at 3:30 this morning.
I won't miss this part of raising teenagers when it is over.
The garden is growing by leaps and bounds since we got 4" of rain the week. This morning I picked tomatoes and peppers until my hands & arms were too full to carry anymore. It is a good problem to have.

I'm looking for my phone. I became aware at bedtime last night that I didn't have it and checked the usual suspects: by my computer, in my purse, in a pocket of what I wore yesterday, in dh's car. Find-my-phone (on my iPad) shows it inside the house, but where??? Dh and I have walked through the house several times and not found it. We came in from being out in early evening, and I almost immediately took the dog for a walk. Probably used the bathroom first? Anyway, can't locate it. I told dh I'm "letting it come to me," i.e. letting my subconscious work on places I should look.
We had a great time out yesterday. We saw Mrs. Doubtfire - Broadway show. Not the greatest ever but very entertaining. After we had dinner out with A and V at a different restaurant (dh and I had been there once). Nice dinner - a little overpriced and a few things not right but we would probably go back. And we celebrated A's 80th birthday.
Today I need to find my phone, and we're going to the temple annual meeting at three p.m. Not sure what we'll do after. We had mentioned doing a "after the meeting" discussion on A and V's deck but may be rain, and might be better for me to come home.
I don't recall going upstairs after we got home last evening, but I'm going up there next to see if I took it up there for some reason.

Bed sheets are in the dryer. All the rest of the laundry is waiting for me to turn on the washing machine.
Bathroom garbage has been taken out.
Kitchen garbage is next.
Dishwasher needs to be emptied.
I had 2 of the boiled eggs for breakfast. Dh is anxious to peel the rest of them. They are still cooling in a pot of cold water. I hope he can wait for another 10 minutes.

Is ringer on silent? Can you call it?
daily lol has been moved to the dryer.
Hard boiled 14 eggs and made egg salad. I plan to add tuna and chicken to portions of it later.
DH is always volunteering to help so I try to find things he can do. I gave him the peeled hb eggs to chop thinking that would be an easy task. It was almost more than he could do coordination wise. once I saw how he was struggling, I kept the conversation going without mentioning his struggles while teaming up with him to get all the eggs chopped.

Yep, LadyM. We had been at the afternoon show so I had it silenced.

I was up by 6:30 to take care of the pups. They let me sleep because I usually am up by 6
Have a load of laundry going. Sweetie has been very needy and doesn’t want me to leave his side.
Got breakfast for Sweetie and pups and now it’s almost lunch time. Don’t expect to get much done today, but that’s ok.
Tomorrow Sweetie has a drs appointment so that will be part of my day
Twins… I hate when I loose my phone in the house and I have put it on silent and forgot to switch it back
