Google's AI definition:
"A day well spent" means you used your time in a meaningful, productive, or highly enjoyable way. It is a phrase used to express deep satisfaction at the end of the day, indicating that your hours were invested wisely—whether through accomplishing goals, learning, or relaxing and recharging.
I need a day well-spent that is mine alone!

Thank you for a wonderful start to our day Twins' Mom!

I stitched, with DMC floss this morning. I saw the comments from last night. I have at least one skein of every colour and MOST of the specialty threads that DMC makes. I even still have some discontinued colours.

I have also watered all of the inside plants.

Dh has an appointment for a blood test at 11:50 that I will be going to with him. I will be "babysitting" a cranky old man who grumbles about having to wait less than 5 minutes for his turn. He always makes his views about having to wait loud and clear to the staff. I don't like having to go, but he used to just turn around and come home if he didn't get to go right in to the area where they take the blood. When I go he just sits quietly and waits.

I am not good about getting my blood work done;
last time I had a larger than plum sized bruise for a week after my last one.
It was not a good poke.

Got up on time yesterday & today ddoggo comes up on the bed to snuggle [yesterday]
today it was doggie kisses on my cheek. Both about 5:00.

So I did one page of journal then by 5:30 we were out walking while it was still cool out.
Done by six. I slept better arm is better.

Hydration happened. Had coffee. no bfast yet.
Thinking of moving some branches not sure where to ...

I have finally decided on an easy project to begin with for sewing.
An easy apron CEO used to have on her site from one yard of fabric.
I'll put more on it in crafts thread.

Cranberry Juice next. X

Waving to all.

Lots going on here. I don't think I posted Monday that there's an upstairs toilet leak. I had suspected as much but didn't realize the only time it leaked was when it flushed. I wasn't up there much on Sunday so hadn't checked...but when I got back from workout and needed to s2s and get set up for dinner party and everyone was talking the news was that the upstairs toilet had a leak. So dhouseguests have been coming downstairs to use toilet
mostly. That's now fixed and plumber gone.

Dhouseguests are packing up I think.

I walked the ddog two laps to get some steps in. I had almost 12K on Monday between the workout and prep for guests/dinner. Yesterday I did get the most pressing HOA checks done and mailed/delivered but left things in disarray when called to go to Talbots, lol.

We ate out last night.

Later....house is quiet, I'm heading upstairs.

CI / After my bfast.
Mission accomplished.
Got the branch pile picked up and moved across the yard.
Still deciding where to put it.
Maybe in the trailer when It's cooler tomorrow morning.
Traded contact info. with the back neighbors.
Asked if they want holly hock seeds & starts yes.
Moved the 2 buckets of apples to neighbors with goat people with a note
I did not need the bucket back. Counting it for daily declutter.
I see that they have moved them.

Washed up a dish after I cooked my new fav. bfast meal
cabbage & egg cheese and 1/2 of a flat bread I made last time I bakesd.

I"m sweaty now,out side stuff is done.

Good morning

Last night was another challenging night for sleep. DS17 called me at 1am and asked if I knew that DH was outside. !!!!!
After getting DH inside and in bed then i was too hyper to sleep. I had a snack while chatting with DS17 then finally went back to sleep around 3am.

On my agenda for the day....
** DH to family doctor at 1pm
** DD15 has 3 prescriptions ready to be pick up in the city. I have 8 days to get that done but sooner always seems better. Maybe I can do that 50 mile drive after the doctor appt.

TA-DA's
** Financial accounts transfer are still in process. Our previous institution continue to be a PITA. I've send a picture of the snail mail received to DS52.
** The generator people listened to my video I sent them in email and said it has a weak throttle spring. They put our generator on their list to be serviced next time they are in my corner of the world. In the meantime the generator is still usable.
** D's in process - Dishes, Duds, Dinner, Daily routines, Declaw paper tiger

I am in extreme tiny baby steps mode on multiple projects. Looking at the entire project is too overwhelming to me and I freeze/procrastinate, however I can do the next TINY step with no problem. One TINY step ....do something else....come back and do another TINY step......on repeat. Progress happens at a snail pace, but it does happen!
