mom woke at 5 am and 7 am but went back to sleep - yay - she is talking in her sleep

Good morning
I've received pictures of DD15 this morning and she is on the road to recovery. Her diet consists of ice cream and mac/cheese so far. Soft comfort foods. She wakes up to eat and take meds then returns to sleep. Tomorrow we will spend the afternoon with her so hopefully she will feel like talking.
DS52 is making the 12 hour round-trip drive today to eat lunch with us. Most of the drive is on the interstate and he will be in DGD16 Tesla using FSD (Full Self Driving) so the drive is as easy as it can be.
DH and I are celebrating our 53rd Anniversary today! What an honor and blessing it is.
Next up -

Morning Woke up at 3:30 for no reason. Turned on TV and one of my al time fav. shows was on so
I watched the final & closing wrap up scenes of that.
Had coffee did the am stuff watered with a diff. sprinkler.
Walked.
Had bfast
Sewed 5 strips together & pressed them today's goal met yea!
Trying out diff. chair and various cushions and pillows for the sewing room options abound.
I brought in a piece of foam that can be cut to fit from the shed.
Then remembered a chair with padding in the dining room it already had a
pillow on it. I also tried a folded up beach towel. All options were better than
what I had before no cushion or padding on hard flat wood.
Squirrels were chattering this morning.
Sun is up and its cool and we have good air quality today so I am pleased!
I'm on a rest break & hydrating.

World cup is on at about the same time as the baseball game.
Did a spiff on the kitchen.
Watered a couple of plants in the plant cage they got too dry.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
s2s happened.

Congrats on that big anniversary, LadyM, how lovely that ds is joining you today. And happy to hear that dd15 is doing well at DD's.
I need to get busy...we're having my cousin J's adult children here late this afternoon. First time we've seen them since her funeral. I've walked the dog already and now cooled down.
It's TOTH here, so I'm going for :45 minutes after the hour.
I didn't even get this posted before dh started asking about the grocery list and BJ's vs. Publix. And so he's gone out and I'm better able to focus. Still going to :45 after the hour.

ordered mop heads for my o cedr mop
ordered the wrong vacuum cleaner bags but ordered new ones and put the box of wrong ones in my car to return

Had some pain last night and one thing led to another with poor early sleep. Ended up sleeping later (not all bad).
Supposedly a package was delivered - it certainly was not.
So this will be time-consuming and worrying today.

Nancy, my reason for sitting on a pillow at the machine is that the height is wrong otherwise. I'm sewing at a desk, so the simple machine sits higher than it would in a "sewing desk" or sewing furniture. I do have a 40-or-so-year-old sewing desk, but honestly it is made for a tiny person and I almost need a more special chair to sit there. Not comfortable for long stretches.
Nearly time for morning service.
Hope the hour was productive, Twins'.
Noticing that blessed is starting her "room by room" today in Cardfile Central.
I could use a "to the TOTH" time later today, all other ducks being in their row... ..

Happy Anniversary Lord and LadyM!!
I was up and out early. I went to one grocery store for soda. I got the last six 6 packs of coke zero for dh and I got 2 sprites for me. (they had a limit of 8) I went to a different grocery store and got red peppers for supper tonight. We are having ramen. Then I stopped for gas in the truck and the small container for the lawn mower.
Now I have to cut the grass. It's hot and sunny out today and it's breezy. NO SMOKE TODAY!! YAY!! Although I did hear of another community getting out just in time but all the houses are now gone. They now have nothing left. The fires aren't near us, but the news is just a click away.
I put a load of laundry on before I left this morning so it needs to get moved to the dryer.
There is a Blue Jays game on at 12:30.
