It's finally Friday! (Long week for me, lol.) Let's enjoy the conga line together, getting things done today and ready for the weekend. Whatever your tasks are (in or out of the house) the conga music is there in the background, getting us dancin' all together.

today I have cleaning ladies - with the dogs it does last past one day but at least it gets done every 2 weeks

my brother asked if he could see mom - it's Nice that dd's aren't here bc their fear level is sooooo high when he comes in that it ruins their day. me by myself it is not as fear based but it's better that I am not here so that he can't drop a bomb or anything that will again cause stress. There is always something. Their whole day is ruined. I wish I could help them. I can just listen.

hopefully mom will be okay today and not having a furosemide day.
if he sees her not with it or tired he assumes she is like that all the time when she's not. it's never good.

Last evening, I did more sewing and didn't realize I was playing bobbin chicken. I lost. Will get back to it later.

Groceries gotten into the house after frustrating delivery of them into a puddle at the wrong entrance. Why? There's a very clear photo of them showing how they were placed so nicely into the puddle. Nothing really hurt, but ... ..

Arrived here this a.m. and found that I was zipping around the site, no problem, but then did begin to get a sad screen saying error at times. So, I wonder if I will be calling again later today, third time. Supposed to wait 24 hours. Is that really a thing, I wonder.

Good morning. Harriet, i.got an error message when firstlogged it but then tried again and it was fine. Blessed it is nice to have someone clean. Our robot vacuum used to really help with dog hair you just need to daily empty it. Twins thanks for starting us off.

I have things I definitely need to focus on.

I am still having issues settling into retirement. If I am not traveling or working on a volunteer job I sit and doom scroll the day away and that has to stop.

I have home projects to work on but fi ding motivation hard.

Time sensitive ones:

Make an orange stoe for Virginia before next weekend.
Harvest and dry my herbs
Dead head roses and gather blooms for rose oil.
Make lavender wands
Make pesto
Make mint jelly and mint rosemary jelly
When tomatoes ripen can salsa and tomato sauce and tomatoes.

To dos and projects

Strip and paint dresser cabinet for basement
Wash sheets, blanket and towels and reset guest room
Cover chair cushions
Repair grad robes and return to school
Make up new recipe cards with a menu using up what we have and incorporating new vegan menus or do another freezer meal prep session to make easy dinners.
Clean out fridge
Organize pantry and clean out
Declutter master bedroom (need Prince help as it is really his office half)
Laminate exercise cards and set up exercise space
Order new set of gravity machine cards, mine disappeared
Declutter office shelves and drawers

Travel, make master lists for all trips planned and start shopping for flights and planning activities and make sure it is all in calendar.

Make a travel bag with glasses kit, first aide, seasoning pack., electronics we take. I am going to need a med pack to keep meds cold for Australia since we are gone longer than a.month.

I am looking at auditioning for a show in Browncounty maybe or being a stage manager.for a.local show. May put in for stage manager first and if he doesn't choose me audition.

Go to the Y more consistently, only went once this week.

I already volunteer at church a lot. Tonight we have a Contra Dance which is a bit like square dancing. From 6 to 9. Food from 6 to 7 and dance from 7 to 9.

Next week we are doing a high tea themed coffee hour. And the week after a game night.

I decided not to be a sub this year. I will volunteer to tutor 1 student on math.

I just find it hard to get started on a project. Yesterday I had breakfast with the ladies, shopped and visited with M who I care for then spent the afternoon binge watching the ne Little House on Prairie while I took off gel nail polish on fingers and toes and redid my toenails. This stuff is super hard together off. Giving fingernails a break.

So today. I will

Make bed
Get dressed
Take supplements

Gather sheets, towels and blankets in guest
Do blanket first and then do sheets
See what I have to make stole, lay out and cut.

Gather herbs and put in dehydrator
Gather mint and make jelly
Gather rose petals and put in jar to add oil.

Water garden
Tie up tomato plant
Dead head rose bush.

I should get jelly jars, jojoba oil and vitamin e oil today
I can then can the jelly in a Watergate

I will dry some.mint too.

Plan to also dry herbs in oven all day as well.

Will remake guest bed
Need to run to store before dance for sourcream and microwave popcorn
Go to church about 5 pm to set up for tonight take nacho bar and popcorn, make lemonade when I get there.

If time allows I can sort mail and make sure all bills are paid.

Going to see 2 theater shows this weekend and maybe the movie Odyssey at the max theater.

I've been very busy this morning.

Dishwasher got unloaded and reloaded.
I had a shower.
I have a load of laundry going in the washer right now.
I called the pharmacy and talked to them. Dh ran out of Freestyle Libre sensors, so he has to wait until later today before he's got a sensor on his arm. That's okay, he can go a few hours without one.
Al clean pots and pans got put away. There are the ones from last night still to do and they have been full of water since supper time.

I slept in today. Ddoggo did too and was next to me in the bed when I woke up.
QT & journals and just walked a few blocks in the shade turned around and came back inside.

It was frightfully muggy last nite before bed but better today 70* this morning. 97* or there abouts is our hi temp.
Neighbors checked on me via text & DD & I had a nice long chat last evening she called.

I've been keeping the drapes closed to keep our the heat and no have to look at the smoke.
Could not tell if it was sunny like it was supposed to be today or just smokey when I got up.

Dreading errands just sayin' . . . tags can wait on the rig but I do need to start it and run it so the battery is up.
I have not watered outside in the beds yet or any where else.
Did have some bfast how ever. 1 cherry tom. while doing my back yard walk about & dev. egg. Yum!

Worked on my work station last evening while talking to DD.
I could vacuum the bedrooms. . .

Got error message just now but came back with refreshing.

Oy. I had vowed I wouldn't do anything related to the cemetery today but another email this a.m. The contractor for the construction project needs payment for the concrete contractor - asked earlier in the week and we have to transfer $$ to the temple's account from a foundation to pay for it - so that takes time and then the temple accountant will have to write the check and get it to the office to be signed....oy. It shouldn't be the temple's problem but whatever. $$ should be in temple's account today or tomorrow via ACH at least.

Oy vey, lots to do and I don't want to do anything honestly.

Dh has gone out for early lunch. The dog is walked but not much of a.m routine is done.

Good morning

My day started with early morning phone call from DD50 concerned about DD15 mouth pain and all the prescription meds have been taken. Today has been a week since wisdom teeth were removed. The biggest concern was to make sure there wasn't a dry socket happening. The surgeon office fit DD15 in this morning to look at the surgery site and said everything looks good. DD15 will just take OTC pain meds for now. *relief*

DS17 has appt with family doctor. this morning He is still a minor for 12 more days so they require me to be there with him.

I am adjusting our daily doings as needed with DH. I want him to continue doing all that he is capable of. It makes me sad each time he isn't able to do something anymore. I am losing him a tiny piece at a time. He continues to say kind and loving things to me and thank me about million times a day for all I do for him.
