Frozen is a Disney animated musical film released in 2013, loosely inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Snow Queen. It tells the story of two sisters, Anna and Elsa, whose magical powers accidentally plunge their kingdom into an eternal winter. With famous songs such as Let It Go, the movie became a worldwide success and one of Disney’s most popular animated films. The film’s success led to a sequel, Frozen II, released in 2019.
The story :
Frozen tells the story of Elsa, a young queen with magical powers that allow her to create ice and snow. During her coronation, she loses control of her powers and accidentally covers her kingdom, Arendelle, in an eternal winter. Her sister Anna sets off on a journey to find Elsa and bring her back home. Along the way, Anna meets Kristoff, a reindeer named Sven, and a funny snowman called Olaf, who help her on her adventure. The story shows that true love is not only about romance, but also about the strong bond between sisters.
Interesting facts
Elsa was originally planned to be the villain of the story, but the creators changed her into a more complex and sympathetic character.
Frozen became the highest-grossing animated film of all time at the time of its release (before later being surpassed by other films).
Disney animators studied snow and ice to make the winter landscapes look realistic.

Good morning, FFB, and thank you for starting us off. I e never seen frozen but it was *very* popular with the little girls in the neighbourhood at the time.
I turned my alarm off again last night, and it appears my natural wake up time in the summer in a quiet house is just before 7.am. Not sure what I'll do with this information, but it's interesting.
Today I'm planning.a day at home. It's supposed to be a sunny 23 C, so should be perfect for gardening, and maybe just reading outside? I have a few little admin jobs to do,.and they can probably be done while sitting in my garden too. This is my little holiday, while DH is off enjoying himself at his DBro's house.

Thank you for a nice frozen start when so many are dealing excess heat, FrenchFly. Very refreshing.

Kittykatt, what I loved about Frozen is that the princess is saved, not by anybody else loving her, but by the fact that she was still capable of loving.
Enjoy your weekend of being Queen Of All You Survey.

L.Ann, am I correct in my guess that little girls have convinced you to watch Frozen enough times that you can recite parts of the dialogue?
