Today is Wednesday? Right? Then we're examining our lists, both written and OMM to find those things we can FINISH today. No more procrastination - pick one or two projects or tasks and take them to completion!

Let's go!

Hi!

I posted in MO husband's health thread earlier with happy news after dh's cardiologist appointment yesterday!

I did 2 AP tasks yesterday. One was a phone call and the other was completing a form online.

Today I am taking out garbage and making the house smell better.

We are having hot dogs and brown beans for supper. (Dh's request) Dh says he is looking forward to cold weather type meals, like stews and soups and casseroles. I made one beef stew last winter and maybe one or two soups. He is not as hungry as he used to be, so making any large casserole, soup or stew is a bit of a waste. I am trying to make smaller meals.

Morning. I always like playing anti procrastination.

First thing first try my physio exercises. It's been a week and I have not done them yet. At least get started. I'm aching all over again this morning. Maybe a shower will help.

Then I need to actually do some detail cleaning. Sheets. Thorough look at each room and tidy. I don't even know how to do that anymore. Sort of but I tend to ignore stuff sitting out and then wonder why it still looks cluttered.

I should do another batch of jam too. Found some real certo. Maybe I can share some with the girls. I froze the last jars cause some didn't seal. Why do I bother with jam I often have trouble.

I've ordered from Instacart and am awaiting delivery. Need spinach or kale to add to my breakfast. Should be here soon.

Dh is going to ATL baseball today - a friend picking him up at 3:30 so will be quiet evening. I added a Publix green salad to my order - I'll beef it up with additional lettuce and protein and stuff.

Quiet day for me, no plans to go out!

Later....Instacart order had four wrong items, and was missing a bunch of mine. I reported it, got refund and reordered for later.

Good morning!

Cathy, you remind me, indirectly, that I am supposed to be making ribs in the crockpot for supper. They are thawing in the microwave now. Thank you! I will have to turn the crockpot up to high, and thankfully, we eat dinner late. Turns out DC does not have a rehearsal this evening; I was hoping to have things ready before they had to go. They do have to go to school about noon to learn how to reassemble the breakaway chairs for their play. Hm -- I should remind them of that, but it sounds like they're still in rehearsal. Will send a text so as not to interrupt them too much. Will have to go see the good news from the cardiologist!

Microwave has beeped, so time for the next step.

***********

Good afternoon! Ribs in crockpot; eating lunch.

1:30, Nancy? I hope you get a nap!

Definitely do your physiology exercises, Lauralind! Your future self will thank you!

Enjoy your quiet day, Twins!

From yesterday: I, too, remember tornado drills crouched in the hall with books over our heads. We did them in our grade school for the couple of years after the Xenia, Ohio tornado (I remember collecting Campbell's labels for the schools in Xenia, too), but I don't remember doing them once we got to junior high.

Congrats to Harriet's DS!

Lunch is over. Can't do the treadmill because DD is in that room for a therapy appointment. May do chair exercises instead. Have a great day, everybody!

Hi to everyone.

I cleaned a somewhat procrastinated corner of the bedroom this morning. Can't say an entire wall, but will say a corner. And since two drawers are part of that corner, I went through the clothing in those drawers (mostly stored for fall/winter) and made some decisions. Most are acceptable, or same as I remember.

A few things were saved there that turn out to have no future with me, so probably donation. One NEW top I was counting on for fall turns out to have been made wrong (?) so I'm disappointed that I didn't try that on immediately. Just assumed it was the same as another top marketed as the same, which I did try, and which was fine. This may mean I need to... .. shop. ugh.

Fielded a call about electric and telephone lines.

Watched some of the coverage of Dolly Parton's life with HRH.

Cathy, for me, Curry's athletic performance in Clue is timeless.

Twins', we think we're just going to go by the HT supermarket tomorrow after my appt, since we, too, always seem to get so many wrong things in orders. Thursdays are the day we can get a discount there for being venerable.

I watched a show on P.B.S. about Dolly a week or so ago.
One on Minnie Pearl too.

Got some writer's prompts on half 3 x 5" cards that will store easier took some time but
counting it as more Anti. P. success.
Got the mini muffins out of the freezer been putting that off.

It's not as good air here today was a great time to nap.
One of the school assembly at the Jr. hi. here the music teacher - I think
play the National Anthem on a saxophone it was on F.B. very moving.

The gal I walk with was asking how I did cook up the squash; and
what I did for savory on the Spaghetti squash. She was taking mental notes
and I could tell that it was an inspiration for her.

We will have fall temps. next week and soups in the crock pot will be happening here and
meat pies! I have shrimp for my birthday. Tonight might be fish not sure yet.

Twins yes I've napped.

----
Boiled up some eggs they are cooling so I can peel them in a bit.
The air has improved yea!
Had dinner .
Punched more pages for my new planner for when it comes next week.
I nearly have enough done and I'm cleaning out some of the partially used
notebooks too. Win win!

We ordered a meal in for supper, a little unusual for us but we certainly have done it a few times. HRH was frustrated to have to go fetch it himself from lying on the ground at the road under the mailbox - the delivery service had sent him the photo like that! We don't know how long it sat there but at least it was still warm. I don't even want to know what his review said.

So many uses for 3 x 5 s Nancy.

Planner chat - I'll probably try briefly again this year, but if the spiral-publishers seem as tone deaf as last year about notepages in their products, I may go the disk/loose route as well. I have not been happy with a separate notebook and planner.

I've S2Sed tonight in preparation for leaving early tomorrow for my appt at a distance. I'll be out of the way for him tomorrow morning so he can shower. He has hair, just very thin, so he dries in a jiffy.
