dd older is struggling with a 5 day intestinal issue. she had this last month as well - needs to be looked into thoroughly. She went to er last time as it was so bad but it cost her $4000 of her own money.

Today mom care has taken up the whole morning. She woke at 6 am. dd got her up and changed and then I did the rest of the morning - it was a full time job today.
I laid her down at 1:30 pm. She doesn't want to sleep even though she is tired. I need a break so I put on murder she wrote.

This morning we did watch a local service and then we watched the mass at Notre dame in Paris. She helped cut tags of some new shirts. She made her own breakfast. She dried her dish. She wasn't thrilled with brushing her teeth but she did it. Lots of grumbles from mom today

cleaned surface under kitchen sink - getting rid of extras - keep it simple - checked fire extinguisher
ordered new (cheap) 12 x 12 cotton kitchen dish cloths as the ones we have are dingy and thin.
put away the extras where they belong in the garage
ordered groceries - so expensive

Next right thing: counter put away and then wash

what will be the next right thing that will help me. it seemed like the house blew up - I didn't do put away or vacuuming for 2 days again and it looks it. It's amazing how fast chaos can happen.

I will pick up floor - vacuum and surface rinse it. I don't want to but will.

I've tried to post a couple times but kept getting 503 error so continued on with my day.

I am super stoked and proud of myself for doing something that scares me. i have been on the zero turn mower twice today to mow the yard. It took me about 30 minutes of operating it to relax and start to feel normal with controlling the power, sway, tilts and bumps. I used to be the main operator of all of our farm & yard equipment and absolutely loved doing it. We sold the farm and equipment so there was no more tractors, swathers, etc to drive. When DH retired, he took over operating the zero turn mower. Eventually DS18 took over doing it. Now DS18 is gone so much and DH can't (safely) do it, so it was time for me to step back into the seat. All I can think now is.....why did I wait? I love doing it.

On the way back from getting our daily drinks, I glanced at the vehicle dashboard stats. I saw 113 and thought it doesn't feel that hot. Then i realize that was the time and the temp was displaying next to it showing 103. I am so very ready for fall weather to happen.

We had 3 sets of visitors before 10am this morning. I recently saw an X post online that was talking about life in their grandparents time. They remembered when it was normal for people to just stop by. They thought that was a practice that has stopped with the previous generations. I didn't tell them that practice is still happening - at least in my little corner of the world.

Hitting deer #3 happened to DS18 this weekend. He was driving the pickup they bought & brought back from west Texas. The deer put a sizable dent in the front bumper.

I have tried to post, done other things and come back to this post a couple times and continued on. Wonder if it will post this time?
