FRIDAY FUNNY

What can you find to smile/laugh about today. Make it a fun/funny day!
Have to take dgd to school shortly and then dh and I are going to breakfast. After that I have to do the bulletin for Sunday. May try calling dbil/dsil to see if they want to meet us for breakfast.
It's dd (alone) who's meeting with dgd's "behavior analyst" today, LucyLee. I'm hoping she'll have some valuable insight that will help us all before dd goes nuts.
Supposed to have some rain this morning. Imagine Harmony & Sunny already have had it or are getting it. You gals were up LATE!
Tomorrow dd is going to school to help some of her TSA students (preparing for 'States'). Then dd, dh and I are going to Disney for a few hours. She has a sitter for dgd so dsil can do his thing for the day. Sitter's coming here for a couple of hours and then her Mom is coming to take her and dgd back to her house. Good plan.
I'm off to take dgd to school.
Oh, btw, LucyLee -MED CO woes NOT over!

They called me last night to tell me the diabetic medicine I've taken for umpteen years isn't covered under my plan. So obviously they have something goofed up again. In utter frustration I told her that I'd just call the Supervisor today. Actually called and left a message last evening so hopefully she will call. I'm taking my little notebook of calls with me. According to rep the script was sent in under my new prescription id -doubt it.

Thank goodness it's Friday! This has seemed like the longest work week. I should go to temple tonight as we have a guest musician. Also noticed that it looks like there isn't a board member assigned to sit on the bimah tonight so may need to cover that. Work has started to trickle in this week at payroll work but I don't think I'll have enough for the day, unless something else shows up.
So I need to get ready and head out...I'm already running late.
As a point of reference, I was at work at 8:30 - our office opening time two mornings this week. On Wednesday I went in at lunchtime to work the afternoon, and yesterday I had to pick up at pharmacy at 9 a.m. when they opened. Today I'm just late.

(((Dee))) your MED CO woes just never end. It is hard to believe that they can never get it squared away and leave it that way.
Dh has went to work but I think he is actually worse. All week the symptoms were a head cold with severe body aches. This morning when he woke up, it had moved to his chest. I told him to come home if he just isn't productive. This is his 3rd bout since early December. He went to the dr. the last time and was told it was a virus. There just isn't much you can do except treat the symptoms.
I had hoped that we could have an open house next Sunday, Feb. 5. Now I will just settle for getting it listed and try for the following Sunday. There are things that dh needs to do and won't be able to do until he is feeling better. My main focus though, is for me to get my cleaning done there, so I can concentrate on this house for a change.
Better go, so I can be ready to head to the other house for the carpet cleaners.

(((Dee))) -- for MedCo woes... This is just ridiculous. I know you are ready to just SLAP somebody!!!
Twins -- I agree -- this has been an incredibly long week! Thank goodness it is Friday!!!
(((Mr. Lilac)))
Harmony -- you asked about dparents. Ddad is doing very well, as far as I can tell, w/the chemo. It makes him feel more tired & run-down, especially during the week he is actually getting the treatments, but I think he is doing as well as we could possibly hope. Dmom... * sigh * I don't know WHEN -- if EVER -- she is going to get real relief for her back pain. She is pretty amazing the way she continues to press on. I'd probably just lie on the couch and cry if I were her. And maybe she does, when she's not talking to me... but she certainly puts up a good front.
Day 3 of my effort to put first things first, s2s before computer, etc. Hooray for me.

I'd agree with all the TGIF sentiments, except that it's Thursday for me..I still have to work tomorrow. However..after that, I get four days off!
So far, I've managed to get up, let the dogs out, feed the cats, make coffee, and clean up the counter the coffeemaker sits on. I love that the guys are making their own coffee more often, but for some odd reason, they can't see the mess of coffee grounds, sugar, empty sweetener packs, and dripped coffee all over (or if they DO see it, it doesn't occur to them to clean it up
) We won't discuss the condition of the rest of the kitchen or the dining room or the living room or the bathroom.......
I have to be out the door in 45 minutes, so I'd best get moving here. Quite how much fun one can have cleaning litter boxes, I'm not sure...but I'll do my best! LOL

I'm having a hard time keeping track of time. It doesn't help when Bittersweet says it is Thursday for her and I know it is Friday for Lynlee!
I've been pondering my packing so I'm not dressed. In fact, I'm really cold because the sweat from my exercise has gone away and I'm sitting here in a sleeveless shirt.
I decided I have to declutter my wardrobe for the trip more so posted in the declutter forum:
http://shesorganized.net/phpbb/viewtopi ... =19&t=2222
I laid out all my clothes (except formal) on the bed to see what they looked like. It is depressing because of the quantity.
I've had my tea and chocolate so I'm heading up to s2s now.
It is a freezing rain day here so it is dead quiet. Any cars that go by are at a dead crawl and the noise from the highway is also not noticeable. No school buses today so I missed the sound of the boys going to the bus stop.
My kitchen window is iced over again. It is really pretty but I'll be staying at home today, at least until it finally decides to switch to snow and the plows get control. I should go pick up the print job but if it can wait until tomorrow morning, I think I'll wait.

I don't suppose it would help the confusion any if I mentioned that Lynlee is probably almost into Saturday by now?
The litterboxes are all cleaned, with much help from the supervising crew which consisted of Francis, Sebastian, and Jiggs today. Now I need to give meds to the four girls who were just spayed (this clinic always sends the girls home with three days of pain meds), and see if Penelope will let me put her eye drops in (I'm not holding my breath on that one!)
And off I go to another fun-filled day at the puppy prison!

Good morning, dear friends!
As I made my bed this morning for some reason it popped into my head that you are my friends. I was thinking how I look forward to telling you things.
Dee, I'm searching around and not finding a post I thought I posted last evening - hmmm. Anyway, I said something like
Please tell dd how impressed I am with her successful weight loss efforts, but I knew she was a smart cookie.
Nancy, I was interested to hear you had gotten to watch some Big Bang Theory and were starting to enjoy it. Last night's was silly on some levels, but that cast can make even silly things bright and entertaining.
LUCYLEE! I started to quote you, but I shall not repeat such a thing. Alright, everybody who is disappointed in lucylee because she is hopeless, please stand up. Waiting.... Did anybody move? Did anybody feel even a slight tremor in the village? I didn't! Nobody so much as fidgeted in their chair. And that was with BGS, too.
bittersweet, what was your speech topic? Will you continue in the same vein or change up topics? I really didn't know if people chose their own for Toastmasters but I thought so.
Indiana, thinking of you and hoping you are feeling chipper. I'm thinking the weather has been good there?
Today is Desk Day, but I will need to wait for my ddad's nap. It will be time-consuming, but I'm hoping to get both households done and any mail off tomorrow morning.
Here's a study in creativity - architects were asked to create and donate these plans and little prototypes to house stray cats/feral colonies.

Yes, it is Saturday for Lynlee. That's what I meant but my own confusion completely mess that up!
I'd go back to bed but I shouldn't.
The newspaper was about 8' from the garage door and the driveway is sheer ice so I used a long handled pole to pull the newspaper in. It is quiet outside, with just the tinkle of the ice coming down. Almost spooky. But sure pretty if you don't have to go anywhere. Everything is encased in ice.
I've s2s and had my breakfast.

{{{Dee}}} I hear you with Rx woes! Waving to everyone.
I noticed I have about a week's work of one of my Rx pills left and have to call so they can fax the Dr.'s office no refills it says on that one ~sigh~ wishing I would have noticed when I called the other on in earlier in the week. BC docs. office is only open half days on Fri. it's pretty much a lost cause calling them today does not help. Oh well!
Dgkids were good for the most part last night here got them in to PJ's before there mom came as we had some we keep here so that was good. Sent home half of the cake with them and put the other half in the freezer down stairs for later so it did not tempt us.
Today I woke up a bit early today coffee is brewing, I'm hoping to get to the book I'm enjoying a novel. BS was down some today yea for that.
Got the pen pal letter going that I'm working on this week.
No news on dd's fil yet.
