I'm going to ConGA up the road to my house in about 3 hours. In the meantime, I'm writing notes to the new Secretary and the new Treasurer on all the things I've done. Passwords, etc. and transferring the files to memory sticks.

DH will go get gas in the little pickup and dump and fill the tanks and we are "outta here".

One kinda humorous aside. When I called the power company the beginning of the week - I gave the new owners the phone number and told them they had to turn the power on in their name - they didn't - so we came home to no power. Didn't hurt us as we camp off the grid all the time - but for some reason they were mad at me. Go figure - I paid their electricity from when they moved in on Monday until yesterday - I don't own the lot any more - why would I pay their electricity any more??

At work this morning , I carried "The Beast" to the vet this morning but forgot to collect his first morning urine sample so they won't have that for testing.

I'm leaving work around 12:30 today and will get him home, then run a couple of errands for my dmom related to her meds, and perhaps a return at the mall, then it's off to K-town to get dd. A long day for sure.

Love the ConGA beat! Indiana - Thanks to a great start to the day!

Last night was another bumpy night but we made it through without steaming up the bathroom. Everyone told me this virus hangs on for a month or so. It certainly is taking time to get over it!

Last night was filled with tornado warnings in this area. Very early in the year to be starting this type of weather but our winter has been almost non-existent. Today is starting with cloudy weather hanging on but it is suppose to switch and be in the high 60's and sunshine later today. We have been waiting for winter to hit so we can take the big lawn mower to have it's yearly maintenance done. However we are STILL mowing! We need to take it in before spring time so I guess the grass will just have to grow. I don't remember EVER mowing during the month of Feb before. Highly unusual.

Tonight is FNG in our home. These friends are early arrivers (is there such a word???) We are suppose to start at 7pm but people start pulling into the driveway about 6:15. I'm learning to get things ready earlier than I used to so I'm eager to welcome them instead of doing last minute things.

I'm up and at it.

I just finished cleaning our bathroom but I just remembered the no-slip mat is still soaking in the laundry room. Our shower head was clogged so I soaked it in vinegar earlier this week. That brought out all kinds of black slimy stuff that made a mess of the tub so I had to clean it properly, not just while I was in the shower.

I took a tray and moved everything off the counter and cleaned that well and cleaned each item I put back.

So our bathroom is properly done now, plus I went through the cupboard under the sink and found some stuff dh was missing.

Ds emailed me money this morning (his loan is slowly going down) and we tentatively set up that he'll come for dinner on Sunday so he can see us. He's moving from the house back to an apartment while we are away so he needs to pick up his house key from us and the garage door opener since things will end up being stored at our house (for instance the twin beds I loaned his roommates so they'd have a place to sleep when they first moved out - over the years they bought their own beds so these are coming back.)

Back from the dentist, it was just cleaning and xrays. No problems.

Decided to eat an early lunch and head to the other house.

It was foggy today and we are having mist. We will take moisture in any form and be thankful for it.

Better do lunch and head out.

I finished cleaning the other two bathrooms and put my dresser back together (I spilled 16 oz of water on the top of it this morning so had pulled it apart in order to mop up that water and let the underside dry.)

That's it for the morning. Sigh....

Choir this afternoon.

I'm going to eat my lunch now.

H. is off to work got the coffee going for me and turned up the heat before he left that was sweet of him. I made the bed and have done my journaling not much else I must admit.
I need to conga and think about floors my energy seemed to leave and that cold is gone but my energy did not reappear yet!
