"Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions." -Albert Einstein
Imagine what you want from your life...I'm imagining the end of tax season, getting clutter cleared out here and moving into a new house. Oh, and creative time!
Or, I'm imagining the rest of tax season (just less than four weeks) changing dramatically. My county, and several in this area, have been declared disaster areas, and we all now have until May 31 to file our tax returns. The problem is, my state hasn't extended the filing deadline so for state tax returns it's still April 17 and we still have to get returns done by then. If the state extends the deadline also, as it's expected to do, then we go back to regular hours and no weekends, since we now have an extra 45 days to get it all done. So we have to keep on for now until the state acts.
But my imagination is running wild.

Imagination! I just love to watch and/or play with dgd2+ as she puts her imagination to work. Yesterday as I was babysitting them, we were playing. She asked me if I wanted a shake from McD and I said yes. She then asked what kind, chocolate, white or pink? She is getting over a cold and coughed. Right after that I coughed. She told me that I didn't want to get what she has, because she is miserable. I feel so blessed to have those little girls in my life.
I think our rain is over but we are thrilled with our inch plus.

Good Morning!
I'm imagining Indiana feeling better every day.
I woke up at 5am this morning rip-raring to get going. It feels wonderful to have a plan for the day and energy to follow it.
I am listening online to podcast about the spirit of anger and how it affects everything. It is humbling as I realize how anger seeps into my attitude & actions. I need to listen to it again because I'm sure there are parts I didn't grasp the first time as I was have multiple *DUH* moments of realization.
We are in week 2 of Buddy care from his surgery. Only 6 more days to go until the e-collar can come off.

I need to imagine my housework getting done.
Did my workout this morning and am wearing one of my dresses from Gambia (I wore the other one yesterday.) The material is very thin so I must wear flesh coloured underwear or else everything shows. On the other hand, this is so very comfortable, I don't want to take it off. I'll have to because I'm going out this afternoon, and it is far too casual to wear off the property, but I sure am tempted. Maybe in the summer I'll wear it on our walks. The other one is form fitting and hard to walk in because African women don't take large strides (they can't, they have loads on their heads so they walk slowly and deliberately.)
I s2s, ate breakfast, loaded the dishwasher and that's it. It is now 11 so don't have much to show for myself. I'll dust and vacuum the bedroom level before I post again.

Surprise, this a.m. at breakfast my ddad changes his mind and believes the partial plate is all wrong again. (Yesterday he said I was mistaken and he had never mentioned it.) So I called the dentist's office and the lady said if we didn't come right then we would miss the last appt until late next week.
I don't like to take my ddad to dr's offices alone, but there was nothing for it except to go. I tried to call HRH on the cell to let him know in case he tried to call home or happened to drive in, but I had to leave a message. So I put a note on the door. A difficult appt as far as communication, of course, but all 3 or 4 of us got through it and the dentist was able to quickly fix the problem. (thankyouthankyouthankyou that it wasn't some big deal)
I came straight home and checked messages but instead of HRH checking in there was a strange boy's voice asking for his Mom to come pick him up. (?) I called the school and both secretaries said they had not seen dd13 come to the telephone. But I ran up there anyway and asked to see her. Instead of her, her English teacher came!!! But her point to me (after saying, yes, that IS what your daughter sounds like now
) was that she couldn't find her.
It turned out she had been shuttled from one classroom to another because of teacher absences or problems, which is called "dispersement", and then the next teacher had to disperse, too. Eventually they found her but that certainly was a strange thing!
At this point, I'm considering filling the steroid prescription the dr gave dd???
Does anyone have an opinion on this?
Is there a reason I should insist she get through this without steroids (prednisone) - it certainly seems rough for a diagnosis of allergy to the current pollen??

I agree Harriet that prednizone is a rough solution for allergies. But if she is starting to develop asthma, then it is the right script, and her lungs will need to be strengthened. If she sounds like a young boy, not a young lady, that is a clue that her breathing isn't right.
The test I used to do with ds was have him hold his hands over his head, breathe in deeply and then start counting. How high he got before he had to breathe again was a clue to his lung capacity. My goal was at least 20 seconds, there were times he couldn't get to 10.

I haven't even started the cleaning of the bedroom level but I did get all the ironing done (so I could put away the iron and board) and cleaned my sandals from the trip (because they were on my floor in the way and I didn't want to put them into the closet while they were still dirty.)
Lunch time and then a 1 p.m. service at the local seniors' place.

Good morning! I am imagining myself employed at the end of the year. I am currently employed but we lost our contract that provides 80% of our work. We are doing 'clean up' work for the time being.
Last night, I weeded the front lawn, set up the drip irrigation system, balanced the checkbook (only 2 cents off), and exercised. I took my nighttime meds earlier and have more energy this morning. My Thursday lunch group bailed on me. Tonight, I have a church meeting. Dinner will be peanut butter crackers. I think I will make up some time at work tonight. Between DD10 breaking her wrist and having to put down the foster cat, I have lost a fair amount of working hours. I need to save up my leave time for my vacation in July. (I will have to do some leave without pay, but am trying not to have a lot of it).
Back to flowcharting. Bye!

A couple hours ago I was facing several DPC's. I'm sooo glad to have them done. I'm waiting on 2 emails from 2 different companies to finalize the details but for now i'm done with those projects.
Lunch is going to be left overs. Choice of chicken fried steak or Road kill. Really...road kill?....wonder who thought up that name for a menu item? It is left overs from my meal at a steak house last night. I admit to feeling weird saying "Road Kill" to the waiter but was intrigued enough to try it. The meal turned out to be wonderful - chopped steak covered in sauteed onions, mushrooms and melted Jack cheese.
