We all have routines.
My routines start as soon as I wake up.
The first thing is "Yes, I'm going to have a great day."
Then my am routine goes from there. Making the bed, my personal routine, something hot to drink, Jake for a walk, etc.
Even Jake has routines. Lasa Apso's love routine.
My routines keep me on track for the day and free's up my mind.
How do your routines help you on a daily basis?

Rain is on the way. So we just came in from our second walk this morning. I wanted to get Jake out again in case we couldn't go in the rain.

Oh, Indiana, how great it is to see you so active again! YGG!
I've been up for a while. Got a bit scared when I first awoke as I couldn't seem to move my right hip.

Finally maneuvered out of bed and it seems to be alright now. ????
Been at my routines ever since. So right! Routines make such a difference in our lives. If it weren't for those I probably would get little done.
Trying to really clean in our room today. Taking things "One Thing At a Time!". Literally. Got all the shower gifts I have so far on the bed and ready to wrap. That's one of my 'must do's" today. Put everything I need to accomplish that with the gifts. So even if it takes me all day (here and there) it will get done. Have vowed not to go to bed without that task done.
Trying to think inside the lines and figure EVERYTHING we will need for the shower. Don't want to leave anything to 'get' once we get home. It's going to be busy enough as it is. We've decided on pulled pork sandwiches and that will have to be bought Saturday, along with the rolls. We're also ordering a sheet cake from the ____ grocery up there (or as Alec Baldwin's mother said, "How would I do without my Weg----?") So will have to get that Sat afternoon. Hoping there's a space in a fridge at the camping store to put it for the night. Plan to go to S...'s early Saturday morning for everything we need. Realized this morning we'll need flatware.
Have to go to L o w e ' s tonight while gd is at her church get-together. DD has lots of $$ to be spent (use it or lose it for school). At least it's only a few blocks from the church so works well.
Back to work>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Good Morning!
I got a big silly grin on my face when I saw today's theme. I was just looking at
this flowchart about breaking bad habit and creating routine. Choosing which one of my bad habits to test out this flowchart and turn into a routine might be the hardest part.
We are doing normal Wednesday schedule today. Library, pick up DGS17/GF/DGS15 from school for an evening with us and last but not least....Wednesday night church. Library reading/craft time is a bit different today. It is being held in local park because of Earth Day awareness.

I'm watching for the big brown truck today as I ordered a printer. We went to 3 stores when we were in the city on Monday and none of them carried one like I want. So I got online and found one for $66.
I am also going to my first therapy session for my knee.
HARMONY: Dr. gave me some non-steroid anti inflammatory drugs to take for 90 days to see if they would help the pain. The therapy is to strengthen the muscles to see if that will help.
I took one of the new pills yesterday and it (I think that is what did it) acted like a gallon of go lightly on me. I'm not going to take one today but will on Friday to see if my systems still reacts to it. IF so, I will call the Dr. and refuse the meds. I don't need to spend the next 90 days in the john and doing laundry!!
Next up is breakfast. I'm starving as I didn't feel like eating last night.

Like it, Okay. Now to figure out the "3 parts"
Been busy at picking up and putting away in our room. Been packing some things as I go. Amazing how little time it REALLY takes to do some things.
Figure I'll go to DSisIL's about noon. It's now 10:30 (Already?

)
Dsonil had a couple of phone calls of a very close co-worker last night which he 'ignored' for a while and then called him later -after 9. Not unusual for the 2 of them. Unfortunately dfriend had found his wife dead in their driveway when he came in from the garage. Dsonil was going to go over but by that time police had the area cordoned off as they investigated. DSonIL was already pretty bummed about situations at work.
This room is looking so much better! Yay!

Progress, but no answer at the salon about setting up a hair appt, and had to leave a message for a call back to set up an appt for my dmom with the family practice doc. Did get her set up for an appt on Monday (as in next Monday!) with the arthritis pain specialist.
This round:
-put together short agenda and plan for board meeting. I have some handouts and other announcements.
-refill meds containers (never done on Sunday)
-put away a large basket of clean laundry

57*-73* Today's temp range we had our nightly thunder activity last night. I had a low at eleven-ish so had to get up and eat some thing wait to make sure I was okay then showered and went back to bed and slept well had very interesting dreams.
Did most of my routine stuff yesterday before the showing.
Today I've got some hand wash in the dryer.
In a bit I"ll be outside exercising.
And later when it's dryer will do some weeding.
I have a meal plan for today.
