It's another busy day for most of the village...I need to be on the road later. What's on your plate for today?

Think Twins and I posted at the same time so I took mine down since it was the 'last' one. :D

Do have to take gd to school in about 10 minutes. Hope she's in a better mood than last night. We came in the door from taking her to church and the first thing she did was throw her key across the room (never did find it) and then flicked the TV remote onto the floor and it was all downhill from there. Never did figure out what was wrong. Only know she was plain 'nasty' to DD. Have a feeling something must have happened at church.

Little foggy this morning but not bad.

Got 3 presents wrapped for the shower yesterday so I'm well on my way. Just have a few small things left now. And of course they won't all fit in the bag I bought.

Haven't decided what to do with myself today. Can't go to DSisIL's so I'm 'homebound'.

Do have to call dpastor/friend up north and invite her to the Dedication for Zoe's Memorial Garden. This is looking 'bigger' than I thought. Evidently the garden is being dedicated as a 'sanctuary' for teachers (or whomever) in Zoe's memory. Consequently there will be several people there from the town and school. It's also open to the public. I'm rethinking my dress

Dee, I was hanging out waiting on you, then I just decided to post quickly and be done.

I don't need to be where I'm heading until 5 or so p.m. and it's only about 2.5 hours from here. I wouldn't mind stopping off at the mall or an outlet center between here and there, so I'm thinking of leaving around noon or 1 p.m. Before then....

-drop dd's camp health form at pediatrician
-update religious school excel worksheet from yesterday
-straighten up the house (normal a.m. routine and needed dailies)
-change sheets on guest room bed
-pick up at cleaners
-go to bank for cash
-write down instructions/directions for dfriend who will stay here with ddogs
-small power nap - probably soon as ddogs woke me at 4:15 this morning, then dh was up soon after that to leave town himself
-do a load of dark laundry

I think that's it, unless I think of others.

-start laundry
-clear/wipe kitchen counters
-meds/vitamins
-nap challenge

I think I've mentioned here that I can't find my computer bag, and don't know if ds took it back to school with him at winter break. So I'm thinking I won't take computer, only iPad....thinking I should charge up the keyboard for the iPad also. Do I need to take a bigger purse? At the convention I went to last Dec, I ended up w shoulder issues from the big purse I carried....

Thursday's are a good day to be busy.

I don't have anywhere to be today but I have plenty to do to keep me busy.

The dedication will be lovely Dee.

Have a good trip Twins.

While Jake and I were outside the maintenance leader stopped to chat. He saw us and was early so he stopped. He has to go the other way and made it a point to stop. I enjoy talking with him.

Hmmmm....that's interesting. Noticed that my 'time' on here was way off and when I went to correct it found I wasn't logged in and had to re-log. Hadn't even done anything to 'log out'.

Back from taking gd to school and now must get busy or the day will be wasted. First up is to fill out my PODA.

Haven't talked to dh in a couple of days. Unusual! DS-A texted last night with order for shirts for his lawncare company. Sure dd is really anxious to get those done! (NOT). They haven't done any the whole time we've been here. At least it's a 'ready-made' business to fall back on should they need it. They have tons of equipment in the garage, just haven't needed to use it of late.

Thermometer says it's 72 in this room, but it sure doesn't feel it.

Have a bunch of dpc to make. I might as well face it -they're all "dreaded". Have no idea why, I guess I just have an aversion to the phone. Never used to. Does that come with age? :?

Good Morning!

This is a catch up day for me and I certainly do have enough to keep me busy. :)

Good to "see" you all this morning, now that I'm back among the living....

-move laundry over to dryer
-finish writing down doggie instructions for dog sitter
-update religious school excel sch and email
-strip sheets off guest room bed and remake
-clear kitchen table

That should keep me going.....

I should be busy, but so far haven't succeeded! I'm headachy and sleepy. Was texting with DDIL (DS-A). She told me that the scheduled c-section for dbaby boy is set for July 11th. She told the Dr. that probably DS-A would have her out on bumpy roads the 5th (his birthday) to try to get things started. Dr. chuckled and said, "If A is successful, then that's the day we'll do it!" So now we know we'll all gather once more with a more cheerful outcome as things look now.

Think I'm going to 'busily' sit in the recliner, read for a few and may drift off for 20 minutes or so. Then perhaps I'll be ready to start again!

Have one DPC out of the way.

Getting taxes done are my priority for the day. Dh may also need me to book some travel for him. He won't be going to Holland but he will be going to Italy and Germany. The client in Italy has agreed to pay the overseas flight (originally they were just paying the fare from Holland to Italy and then on to Germany.)

Dh and I went over the information chits for the taxes, confirming I entered everything correctly. That means that this year is finished but I need to go over the past several years' returns for me to figure out how much Capital Loss I have to carry forward. I've been keeping poor notes (I thought I had left a trail in the files but can't find it) and need to get that clearly noted somewhere. I think my return can reopen last year's and get even more money back. I'm really nervous about how much we are expecting back. We could take a short cruise with it. Actually, the software has warned us that we'll likely be asked many questions by the government because the number is so large. But all the red flags are supported by receipts so I can expect a delay but don't expect any big changes in the numbers.

After I get the taxes done I think I might actually clean my house. My bosom buddy was over yesterday and asked what I used on my kitchen floor to clean it. I had to answer, "Lately, nothing!"
