It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor, won't you be mine? - Fred Rogers
Keeping it positive here in the village! It's a beautiful day and a beautiful new week.
What makes your day beautiful?

What makes MY day beautiful is the drop in temperature. Down to the mid-eighties for the high, 63 right now! Woohoo! Time to make myself a tall glass of iced coffee and head to the garden to reclaim more ground from the years of neglect. My portable umbrella-style clothesline is supposed to arrive today, too. That's just in time for the laundry I need to do.

I'm keepin it positive today - I don't think I can possibly pack everything that is in this house in four more days but I'm doin' what I can, given the other limitations on my time.
PODA today:
-call yard guy to make sure he is getting started on the yard soon
-p/u dry cleaning late this afternoon (they were closed last week)
-Vet appt for blood draw for Macs - but I gave him meds 45 minutes too late this morning so need to ck first re whether I need to change the appt to 45 min later
-be available to be at new house for delivery of new washer/dryer
-Email the carpet guy re carpet for old house
-meet with builder guy for new house who is going to moonlight/contract out painting and repairs on old house
-oil change/servicing for my car today or later in the week? - I am down to 5% oil life now after trips to camp last week
-continue packing playroom/crafty area - ds will be home today so I will use him for hauling.
-unload my car at new house
Cathyy, yes, we have a drop in temp happening here too. The mountain high will be only 87 with a chance of rain.
Beautiful day? Yes, regardless of how bad my house looks right now, my life is beautiful and I am thinking positively!

Good Morning!
A beautiful day here too! Our temps are suppose to be double digit this week. WhooooHOOO!! The forecast shows 88-98 degrees all week.
LO has a cold. Four simple words = me being up/down all night long.
Family doctor office dropped the ball on getting DH an appt with heart specialist. So did I.

ANYway - today's top priority is to get that scheduled.
Need to get SHE cards set up for the day. *POOF*

You sure have a full day, TM. But then, moving always makes for weeks of full days.
I left the sink full of dirty dishes last night - most unlike me. So since I've spent some time in the garden, it's now time to clean the kitchen. But first comes my coffee. I thought better of taking a glass outside with me, because I knew I'd be digging up sod and deep crabgrass roots. If there is both dirt and a glass, some of the dirt will inevitably find its way into the glass. so I held off on coffee until after the garden time.

Trying to decide where to start. Dcleaning lady will be here this morning - I'l pay her and ask her to do a few jobs (clean bathrooms, change sheets, clean out fireplace, clean ceiling fan on screened porch if she's comfortable reaching it, what else?)
-email re carpet
-call yard guy
-quick s2s
-continue with packing upstairs playroom/craft area
The delivery people called about washer/dryer and that will be afternoon between 1:30 and 4:30 and they will give me about 30 minutes lead time if possible to get to the other house.
I think I will wait on the car servicing, either until later in the week or next week. I'll mainly be driving between this house and new house.

Twins: would you be better off getting the cleaning lady to help you pack today and focus on cleaning once the house is empty?

I'm up and at it but overwhelmed already.
I've exercised and the bed is stripped and remade. Now having breakfast. Dh is supposed to be on a conference call but is sitting, dressed, on the exercise bike. He worked out this morning but went back to his computer there. Ds comes in an hour.

It is a beautiful morning so far. It rained during the night so I stumbled around shutting the windows. But nothing got wet as it was a gentle rain coming straight down.
I'm not awake yet - so will just say hello and go get some breakfast. Oops - have to do the meds. That will be my first on the list.
