What a great weekend this has been! I'm so very pleased to see Indiana home, Twins is now living in her new home. Two weddings to establish new homes this weekend.
I always resist trying to list events and people because I ALWAYS remember more and want to keep coming back and adding to my list.


What is the best thing you like about your home?
What is the **One** thing you would like to change/improve?

What I like best about our home is its simpleness. Being a small home forces me to keep things organized and decluttered, it is easy to heat/cool and easy on the taxes.

What I would like to change/improve? Add a bedroom.

**sigh** LO was just woke up by another nose bleed.

Okay, I too have been having morning nosebleeds. In my case it seems to be from the dryness. If I use a saline nose spray before bedtime, then I don't have that problem the next morning. I don't know if that is something that you can do for LO or not, but it does work for me.

I'm up. Stripped and remade the bed, put three items away in the basement (thus off the kitchen surfaces), wound the clocks and have refilled the vitamin dispenser. But I'm still in my negligee (so couldn't answer the door if someone came by), I need to s2s and haven't exercised so need to think when I'll be doing that today.

I think I'll eat breakfast next, then work on the basics. In the meantime, I'll stay away from windows at the front of the house! (It is just too warm here to put on my dressing gown.)

Evidently Indiana is home.....Yipee!!

My internet service was cut (as in line physically cut) late last week and finally I'm back on. Will have to cuop later. Right now have to get breakfast and go to the laundry room. DH has no 'whites' left. I've hardly had sleep all week for one reason or another. So I'll be trudging through another day. DH has been in South Bend, IN for the past 4 days with DS-R and DGS7 for a WKA event. Had to pick DH and DGS up at 2:15 this morning. DD went with me and took dgs back to her MH. She has to take him to lacrosse camp each day this week. Sure hope they're 'easy' on them as the heat is in mid to upper 90's today & tomorrow anyway.

I'm so brain dead I can hardly think and I'm at the stage of being weepy. Know a little rest will fix it all.

Had 3 racoons here this week a few different nights making a mess of our deck. Think they might be gone now. If we see signs dh will be setting a have-a-heart trap and relocating them.

He had a call at 7:30 so we've been up since then.

I love facebook. I just sent a message to all the people in our family that has small children and received almost instant reply. FB makes it so simple to contact select people and broadcast information. Yesterday I removed several pieces of furniture (Ikea children table with 2 matching chairs, Thomas the train rocking chair) from LO's room. He doesn't use them and they are just in his way so we are giving the furniture away to someone who can put it to use. Table & chairs was immediately spoken for.....now waiting to see if anyone wants the rocking chair.

baby steps for upcoming birthday party..... just sent email to lady who makes awesome decorated cakes. If she is interested & reasonable then i'll order a cake from her. I was tentative planning on doing a construction theme cake myself - but would really like to use the talents of someone who HAS A CLUE. Theme is going to be Bob the Builder. YES WE CAN!! that will only make sense if you hear Bob the builder theme song frequently

Good Morning waving hi to Harriet lots been happening but not much housing keeping have gotten started on two of my rooms in reorganzing and cleaning but no where near done gotten sidetrack from them.
I have had cataracts done on both eyes, butwill still ended up with glasses i didnt have one problem taken care of and should but was trying to save money. then got a couple of breaks on price, oh well
money has been such a headache ended up borrowing a little from db
hubby boss been on vacation so when he returns we will get paid should be back to day though h as he headed out the door said we probably would not get paid so i am not understanding if he shows up today we should get paid. so we will see what happens but we need money i have things i am behind on.

Glad to see Indiana is home!

We went to church yesterday I asked and they do not have any offers for the building at this point. New pastor will be here later in the month. They are trying to get high school age youth group going, then will work on a jr. hi. age one, and more home groups, and prayer if you go up to the alter after service with a need so they are trying to get things going slowly bit by bit. It was cool I was glad that I had a short sleeved sweater on!

It's nice and cool here today. H. just left for work @8:00 today we turned off the a/c and opened the windows & we can hear the birds. 63*-92* today's temp range.
I've picked up the apples.

I saw a new jar gift at the farmer's mkt of doggie nibbles for dog owners.

unload dishes is on my list did the silverware.
Heading out to do more chores.

OKay, Buy a sheet cake from the store, I guess with chocolate frosting but not decorated otherwise. Buy (or dig out of the toybox) some Bob the Builder toys. Place toys on top of cake, artfully arranged. A pile of marshmallows for boulders, some bread sticks for logs, some carob or chocolate chips for general rubble. Use your imagine, stand in front of the bins at a bulk food store and go wild.
