I'm up early -slept fairly well until I started having bad dreams about going to the Dr -around 5ish.

DGS7 will be here in about 45 minutes. I never did get to do our LOL yesterday so have to get it done today.

Had planned to deep clean the living room today, but forgot will have dgs and that's pretty much his habitat for the morning anyway.

** LO to school (hope the arrival/separation goes easier today)
** LO to counselor Need to write down the details so I can get the information to his counselor without saying the words out loud. I don't want LO to hear me tell her what happened Saturday night when his parents called him on the phone. When they called, I handed the phone to LO but as soon as he heard their voices he handed the phone back to me and didn't want to talk to them. This is totally out of his character.....Mr Social Butterfly talks to EVERYONE.....the WM cashier, the bank teller, etc.
** Closet cleanse continue.....paint is dry in entry closet so will be putting it back in order. Next closet to tackle/cleanse is LO clothes closet.
** Lunch
** 1 hour with feet up
** MPB chores
** LO from school
** walk/talk/play
** supper
** games
** bedtime routine

I am sitting here just being lazy (sleepy). DGS7 is here and just started asking for breakfast. Suppose I should get myself in gear and move it!

What a nice night we had last night. Of course being given $200 plus a 3-year G ood S am's platinum roadside assistance helped make us smile. Now I suppose I have to cancel our AAA for a bit. No sense in having two. I'll wait until I have the new card in hand. They're supposed to call dh today to finalize things. Several people had their AAA cards cut up and were given platinum roadside assistance in its place. Plus I think they 'bought' the AAA cards. Figure C World gave us about $700 last night, plus we had another $200 from them earlier this year for recommendations for the RV we have.

Ok, I found the BGS -it was right here all the time! Called "anti-procrastination gel".

What a happy way to start off the village today.

Lucylee re: your remedial reading classes. Are you allowed to use manga and/or graphic novels? My instinct would be to start them off with some Anime (Japanese animation) and then slide them over into the Manga (Japanese graphic novels) based on the Anime. At least around here, manga is big with teens, boys as well as girls. Actually it was a set of boys that got dd into it (we called them her Anime friends.) There are fan expos, etc, dressing up as favourite characters, and so on. You do need to be very careful and read the stuff first - their level of violence and sex (and inappropriate behaviour towards female characters) is very different from North American standards. Maybe that's why the kids like it so much.
