Monday is garbage day here but the bins are out today because of the holiday. That was done last night.
I'm awake but still in bed. Dh helpfully woke me up at 6, reminding me I wanted to be off early today. I had to remind him that I need to stay in bed as long as possible since I'll need to be up 7 - 8 hours today. So I tried to go back to sleep. No luck but I did rest. Still, I'm starting the day with less than 5 hours solid sleep and not full on energy as I had hoped. I got to bed early but dh was later to bed. Even so, it took well over 2 hours for me to fall asleep. Sigh....
Today I have volunteering in the morning, hair cut at noon, then lunch at the chip wagon, then errands and home to bed around 3. There's a bank branch across from our hair salon so that errand will be done effortlessly while dh is getting his hair cut. Dh has to pick up his repaired suitcase (a longer walk) while I'm in the chair.

Good Morning!
****Cheering for those who have their day planned****
It is a painting day for me. LO bedroom walls/ceiling are prepped & ready to receive a fresh coat of paint. DMom reminded me yesterday how much she loves to paint. She wants to come help me. I would be THRILLED to team up with her on this project, but I don't know if DDad can be left alone for a couple hours. We will see how he is doing this morning and go from there.

DS13 is up and currently going nuts because a spider has built a huge web right over the stairs leading off the porch. He has been fighting this spider since taking out the trash last night.
Got up to no coffee having been made, DS19 sets up the pot before he goes to bed… so I am waiting for my 1st cuppa. Slept okay but had some REALLY weird dreams.
Kathryn our Bin Day is Mondays also and like you due to the holiday that makes it today, the boys got everything out last night.
To Do list;
Coffee
Reboot Laundry
Update Outlook Calendar with School deadlines
Schoolwork
Get Dressed and ready
Work (11-7)
Ahhh coffee the nectar of the gods!

Hey, scattered, spiders are doing the same thing here. 'Tis the season...
Have had coffee. Will go to library to drop off/pick up. After that my day is wide open. Can't wait to see what I do with it!
Supper is planned--partially leftovers.
Expect to hear from DM today. She and DB are feuding, so I have to listen to both sides...This is a pattern. She is only ever interested in me when she is mad at him...families.

If I say it enough times I will believe it right?!?!? I asked DS19 to flip the lol Sunday night and I saw him go into the laundry room, so I assumed (falsely) that he had done just that. My Laundry room is not kept as cool as the rest of the house so now my whites smell of mildew.
I have rebooted the lol with a little vinegar, little soap, and a little softener. I don't usually use the softener with my homemade laundry liquid, but since my whites are for at work I figured it might help.
Need to figure out my work schedule for the week, due to the holiday yesterday I only worked 6 hours which leaves 34 hours to go... working 8 today, 12 tomorrow since DP has to go in for a pre-op appointment, that leaves 14 hours for Thursday and Friday. Need to be off by 4:30 on Thursday for DS13's eye appointment, that is if DS19 can meet me with DS13 at the office (eye place is half way between here and work), otherwise I will have to be off by 4 pm. Have reserves this week so I would like to get off early Friday. Hmmm, decisions, decisions, will talk to my DP today and see what she suggests. Any one here have any suggestions?

I have about 2 hours left before I need to leave for work, gonna go get dressed and then see where I'm at with my list.

I've been up for some time but had to get ready to help dh do septic tank readings. We use walkie-talkies the first Monday of the month & he checks EVERY tank -the other Mondays he only checks those that are climbing or he knows have heavy usage. Our tanks on this side of the pond hold about 1,200 gal. Other side it's only about 700. Would be wonderful if we had sewers or leach fields, but that will never be. The 2 bathrooms/laundry room & the new dining area all have leach fields. Sure that's a requirement for zoning.
Have a break right now, so picking up and trying to post while I can. We have about 55 sites to go. Have about 140 done (did some yesterday).
Our trash pick up here is also on Monday but we have dumpsters. DH finally talked dcampowner into putting a third one on our side this year -so there are 6, except for 4th of July -he brings in an extra large dumpster. They're all overflowing right now, so good thing they'll be here today.
Trying to get readings done before/if we get rain. It's been raining quite a lot north of us -mostly over the lake (Ontario) and the shoreline.
DDIL & DS-R, DGS7 spent the night here last night, but will be heading home today. DGS has school starting tomorrow -he's not happy about it.

He has such a full summer that I'm sure it's a big change for him. Other 3dgks go to the same school all our dks did.
Want to try cleaning our 2 fantastic fan screens with my vacuum today. Not sure I'll be able to reach them even with the extensions. If not, I'll leave it out for dh to try. Love to be able to snap the screens off, but not sure we can. DH may have to go on the roof to accomplish this feat. Any hints/tips, MT? They're not awful, but definitely need some TLC.
