Good morning, Good morning,
The sun shines today!
Get ready, get ready
For work and for play!

(This in honor of pre-K memorization rhymes!}

Are we all in our places
With bright shiny faces?

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Ugh, why is it when you only have a few hours to sleep you toss and turn and then hear all the alarms that you don't normally hear, when you can actually get another 30 min of sleep?!?!? :(

Didn't get home till almost 1 am and have to be back in at 8 am. Need to go jump through the shower it is going to be a long (11 hr) day!

LOL Dee!

You are pulling a tight schedule, scattered. I hope you get a bit of a reprieve tomorrow?

I got up and made lemon poppyseed muffins this a.m. The girls are biking today, so no need for me to drop off or pick up. :D I've also sent emails to both small groups, trying to figure out when to start up each one.

Some form of bfast and a.m. routine is next.

Woke up to a bit of rain before the rain. That drops small twigs onto the roof and sounds like rocks falling. Now the rain has started and is a nice sound on the roof.

Waiting to see if DD#1 has to substitute teach today - if not we will head to her house this morning with some laundry.

Trip down was uneventful except for the heat after we got here. But we are paying $2.50 per day for the extra electricity so ran both ACs after we got here. Then I took a shower and we headed for DD's.

Left shortly after dinner as all the kids plus DD had homework. She has started on her Master's this term.

I need to get moving on stitchery for DGD#5 so I stitched an hour last night. That's about all I can do as then my hands begin to cramp. So I'm planning on an hour in the morning and an hour at night to get it done before we leave on Sunday. We'll see how I do.

Good morning! MT, my DD has also started on a Master's this semester.

Going to be looking for a new rug for main family room. No formal living room here. Will haul the old one to Goodwill. We got our money's worth out of it. Supper is going in the crockpot, since I'll be out for part of the day. Need to get moving...

LOL @ your "We told you so," comments last night.
Dmom told me that the other day, too.
I guess I am just one of those people who feels compelled to FRET about * whatever * is coming... like that will insure that it will be okay when it gets here. * sigh *

Waving to ALL!!!!!!

I'm going to be late to school... woke up w/headache, Aunt Flo on her way, grrrr...

I'm awake.

Headache is still here. I'm noting it on my temperature chart so I won't forget which days I had a headache. My temp last night was 96.7 and then 96.5 (I took it a second time just in case I had done something wrong.) It is currently 97.9 but I've got a heat pad on the back of my neck so that might raise it a bit.

I had got the Quebec election results last night before bed and noted the separatist government was enough of a minority that another referendum would not happen and their platform of further restricting religious symbols and English language could not be implemented. Upon waking I was shocked at the news this morning about the shooting. I've searched my memory and this is the first time I recall a gun being discharged at a Canadian political gathering.

I'll get up in a few minutes. Am hoping the headache will go away as the day progresses. I'm not sleeping or napping well due to the headache which of course makes me more tired and worsens the headache. Vicious cycle.

Up extra early since dd had a paper to deliver to a teacher across the campus from her first class.
Also just not on program  with days and nights right now, so when I realized I was truly awake at 4:45, I just decided to go with it. :D

Awakened dd with the same song in above post - my children just LOVE that. Not.

TaDas

Darks washing through to drip dry
Morning Daily Card
School run at O-dark-thirty - chancy. :? Didn't leave until I saw her get into the door behind 2 boys she recognized
Big pick-up through house and gathering for Trash Day
A check on the other house with trash gathering
4 large bags of trash, 2 small, and a bunch of recyclables to the cans and ready
1 large bag of trash from the other house to the cans
Pint and a half of water

Next Up

apple
Laundry for my ddad
Outdoor chores (now that it's daylight)
Front bathroom spif

My ddad says he is not feeling well and went back to bed without breakfast. So that will need to be on my radar today. He did take his morning vitamin and his one-and-only every-other-day med with half an Ensure. So that much can be off my mind. He's so blessed to need no meds.

Harmony, you are on my mind.

lucylee, all best wishes to your family as your ddad is certainly ready for home.

Kathryn, also remember going back through your posts to discover when you mentioned headache here - that might help.

Completed my hour of stitching. DH is now up. DD has to substitute so we will not be doing laundry. Now to complete the morning routine - shower, breakfast, meds, dress. Then I'll see what I want to do. Might even break out the window spray and clean in the inside of the windows. Still raining so can't do the outside.
