Good Morning!

I'm still working on court documents. Woke up at 2am with thoughts running through my head how to organize the material better. I was able to fall back to sleep for about 30 minutes, but then got up and got started on my day. I plan on taking a nap this afternoon. :)

I have the old saying running through my head "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". I don't think i'm tough but I keep going anyway. :D

I slept well again. Need to get going in a moment but thought I'd post quickly.

Today I have a GP appointment (just ongoing follow-up until the specialist is following me) at 9 and a dental checkup at 12.

Mystery posted last night about PBS not putting the news of 9/11 on a crawler on the bottom of the screen during the children's programming. In Canada, CBC has children's programming in the morning. It is also one of two or three stations that those without cable in rural areas receive. So it was important that they cover the news but they couldn't just start broadcasting. So they switched to someone telling the children that they needed to go and get their mommy or daddy, or babysitter and show them the tv. They left time for the children to go find an adult before breaking into the programming. I always thought it was great that someone thought about the effect on children and tried to balance that with covering a breaking story.

I'm up, having tea. I slept fine, it just feels short. I might sneak in a little n-a-p later this afternoon.

Today: I still need to hammer out my little talk for tomorrow and check in with some people re: details for the first moms group meeting of the year.

In terms of running around, there's not too much. Dd16 has a Dr. appt. at 4:10 this afternoon. I'll go jogging with dh today too. I might swing by the groc. store for things I forgot and fixings for the Thursday dinner crew. We invited a new friend to join us, and she is gluten-intolerant. SO, we need to change our menu plan.

I'm off to get that a.m. routine done.

We'd be happy to hear from you Mystery whenever you have a minute to share! Reading your posts reminds me of how much I've missed you.

I did not sleep well. Was up several times during the night. Read for a while, puttered on the computer and went back to bed when I got pretty sleepy. A leg cramp woke me shortly after 6 and have been up since then.

Dneighbors arrived from FL later yesterday afternoon. His DB was 64 and had gone to the fire dept. 1 town over to exercise in their downstairs exercise room. He did this nearly every day and was finally found there late Sunday. No one realized he was down there, though people were in and out. He's an ex-chief so the pagaentry will be quite extensive.

I am feeling so much better since company left however. Didn't think I was stressing over them coming, but evidently was -blood sugar was at a good number again today. Hmmm....hmmmm....hmmmm. Hope that continues.

Never did get to the hospital or Ronald McDonald House yesterday. Spoke with the house manager and wondered if she'd remember me. Immediately asked how Shelley's 2 dks were and we talked about them for a while. Actually I figured she would know -she came to dShelley's funeral. Perhaps will try to go in today with our 'ton' of pop tabs. Would love to have dgs19 go in with us. He spent a lot of time there growing up and was their 'spokesman' for a long time. When they got ready to build a "house" within the nearby hospital he made a video for them. How those years have flown.

Yes, Happy Birthday to HRH!

I'm at work today - already frustrated because don't have the info for two returns due on Monday. I am leaving this afternoon for "bodywork" aka as a massage. Doing something nice for myself.

I haven't logged yesterday's WW food and was probably way over considering that I ate mixed nuts for supper. We're out of milk for cereal so I had oatmeal this morning - used plain quick oats and added walnuts. Was quite filling so a good start for today.

Think I'll post some 5x5's. I've noticed that when I do that I seem to get some of the more glaring things done. Otherwise I'm apt to let things slide and have them all to do at once. Of course I do many more 'things' than 5, but it's a good reminder system for me.

1 TAKE PILLOWS AND COMFORTER TO DD's MOTORHOME
2 TYPE UP COUNCIL NOTES

3 MAKE OUT LIST FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS
4 FIND SPOT FOR 12-CUP COFFEE MAKER & PUT AWAY

5 CLEAN THE MICROWAVE

Nothing very difficult, but as I know -things build up. Or as MT often says: "trailer ooze". So today I have a wonderful opportunity to stay on top of things!

44*- 80* Today's temps.
Happy bday HRH!
I'm up and I've checked on the eggs and turned them they are fine. Last
night h. convinced me I needed to move them inside so they are in the laundry room now. He is very involved with this.

Yesterday I found another source for some local fertile eggs yesterday but not quite the breeds I want but can't be too picky at this point. Leghorn sex link cross.

Today I forgot to check my bs when I first got up first time that's happened in a Lo-o-on time. {bs check done now.}
H. is working today.
Dd's meeting was re-scheduled so not granny duty for me this afternoon
as far as I know anyway.
