If I can stay focused, it will be a scrumptious day here. Roast beef is on the dinner plan. Of course, I haven't checked to see if there is a roast in the freezer....
I'm feeling pretty prepared for today. My reading in church is easy. My presentation is ready after and I have a good devotion to start the meeting (which I'll go over one more time to get the reading of it smoothed out.)
On the treadmill now because I could squeeze in 30 minutes on it before having to hit the shower.

Happy Birthday, Scattered.
Today is the Thanks for Giving dinner at church. My part is 10 cups of mashed sweet potatoes. I baked them in the oven last night and peeled them. I will reheat in MW, add hot chicken broth and mash today with a bit of orange zest and nutmeg.
Next up is S2S and get ready.
My blog won't be up until later this afternoon.

Roast beef it is. Too bad I can't invite Scattered over for a birthday dinner. Our family has a wonderful birthday cake recipe. Instead, I've invited ds to come if he's available.
I'm almost on time, just have to pull muffins out of the oven and then go dry my hair.

Happiest of Birthday's d Scattered
Yesterday was so much fun. We also went to see Lincoln - and I loved it. (not the beginning scene but I don't like war stuff anyway). We then spoiled ourselves with Tevana.
Good morning and afternoon dear everyone.
dgirls are looking through old albums as they plan on making dmom a documentary of her life and her relatives in France for her May birthday. Right now they are looking old pictures to scan and giggling.

We saw the James Bond movie Skyfall yesterday - very enjoyable, then we got a burger and fries at Five Guys. Dh slept while I watched some of the TN football game.
We walked ddogs earlier, made a quick trip to Lowes and the grocery, and just now moved everything off our back porch and swept it well, decluttered, and moved the furniture etc. back. On the back covered porch we have an outdoor sofa big enough for a nap, two comfortable chairs and a coffee table; on the part that's not covered, we have a table with four chairs from our deck at the other house, the grill and a firepit which we've never used. While dh swept, I also took the pooper shovel and rake and cleaned up the yard while the ddogs watched.
I'm going to take a nap now, and perhaps work in the garage or dd's room later.
