Aw, I can't do it! I like you guys too much to trick you. But I had some good ideas! :D

Anyway, be cautious today! There are imps and practical jokers about!

2013 is at the One Quarter Mark! A fourth of our year is gone. No really, not April Fool's - it really is! (gasp)

Now everybody tell what you're MOST behind on! :o

(See, THAT's a mean April Fool's Day conversation, isn't it?!)

Oh my goodness...
What I am MOST behind on?
EVERYTHING!!!

* We need to visit dparents! I am beginning to really feel terrible about the fact that they have been out there 2.5 months and we have not been out there yet. And I am sooo worried about them coming home and dh wanting to be gone to a ballgame during their first weekend back after 2.5+ months!

* Also behind on any semblance of order, routine, etc. involving housekeeping. Basic Weekly Cleaning, Focus Cleaning, etc. It's all non-existent around here.

* Exercise. Ugh. I seem to have forgotten what that word even means.

* Read the Bible Through in One Year. Yep. I've fallen waaay behind on THAT "resolution" also. I still do my daily devotional reading faithfully... but the other, more extended readings... waaay behind.

* Bedtime routine. Can't seem to get lights out before midnight. Which messes up my entire day, I guess.

Ugh. I am such a downer lately.

Good morning, Harriet and everyone else as you wander into the village this April Fool's Day.

We had our Easter get together last night. Dd2 and her family were only here for 2 hours. The food was ready when they came so we ate. Then her and dd1 hid the plastic eggs and the 3 youngest gathered them up, while I was putting away the food. Then we had our stocking stuffers from Christmas. Dgd16 had been to the ER that day and so dsonil had stayed home with her and dd2 brought the 4 kids over for gifts and a late Christmas dinner. My dm was going to come for New Years and then the weather was bad and she didn't come, but that is why we had waited for the stocking stuffers instead of doing them on Christmas night. We all agreed that we aren't waiting again. Dgs9, dgs7 and dgd3 have repeatedly reminded us that we still needed to do that. So last night they had stocking stuffers, a card with $ from dm for Christmas that dm had sent after she couldn't come and their Easter pjs. They loved their pjs and the 4 youngest had to put them on and wear them home. They always do that with their Easter pjs and their Christmas ones, also. For the second year, dgs9 thought he was too old to hunt for eggs.

It was 75 out and beautiful yesterday. Today it is very windy and is suppose to be around 50. Tomorrow there is a chance of rain/snow and low 40's. By the end of the week it will be 70ish again.

Okay, that is great that you, your ds and the others have pitched in and done so much deep cleaning for your dm, plus all the outside work. That is so very thoughtful that your ds has paid for your parents RX copays and then set it up again when your dm changed pharmacies. It is easy to see that he paid attention to the caring things that you have always done for everyone and now he is doing the same thing.

Our kids had school on Friday but are off today for in service. For some reason they didn't have Good Friday off.

Dh got the mower ready yesterday. When it warms up again in a few days I need to mow. Then I am calling a lawn service to see about having them dethatch and also aerate our lawn. Dh has always rented an aerator when we've needed it done but he just doesn't have the time this year. We have only dethatched a yard once and we raked so much grass afterwards that we were surprised that there was any left. Dh had put a fertilizer/pre emurgiant weed combo on the yard last week. It looks like we need to reseed some areas this spring also. We are hoping to get this lawn looking good again.

Guess I need to do meds and have breakfast.......

What am I behind on? This house needs to be deep cleaned and decluttered. I need to do a weekly cleaning of bathrooms, vaccuming, dusting and moping, then dig into deep cleaning. Yep, that's what needs done. Now to get started.......

Going to try to post at least briefly. This computer is making things extremely difficult. My new one is "on the F ed X truck for delivery today. Now to learn the new system (once it actually arrives) and have to put M S O ffice on. Wouldn't it be nice if they 'came' with it?

I was sick the last half of last week and i don't think I've posted in days!

Tomorrow DD, DSiL & GD have a meeting here at 10 for the sheriff's ranch case worker. (This man is strictly all business and obviously 'could care less' about any particular situation). GD is scheduled to be at the ranch on Tuesday, April 16th at 1pm. That leaves me 16 more school runs (for drop off/pick up). But who's counting?

Plan to clean the 'great room' today -which really includes the
1. kitchen
2. dining room
3. living room
4. entryway
Think I'll report back as each one is done. Also want to get some more cleaning done in our room. Finally feel like perhaps I can accomplish something!! (Now I'm going to rest my back for a while).

Hello to all my friends here. I've missed you the past few days.

Easter Monday here today. The last day of a four day long long weekend.

What am I behind in?
My attitude has gone off, along with many other things. Everything is a good answer.

This is a 30min video I watched last night on a horse therapy program.

I'm late heading for bed and lights off.

Hoping your day goes well today.

goodnight.

Good morning, villagers ~
DH is taking a day off work because he said he needed a day at home to recover from so much family visiting over the weekend.

Usually that would mean going out to a local diner for lunch. I don't think we'll do that today, though, because the refrigerator is full of leftovers. Also, since I haven't been going out for lunch very often this winter due to bad weather, I have realized that I'm beginning to prefer my own cooking. Not that I don't appreciate someone else doing the work, but I think my taste buds have adapted to what I fix at home.

Goals for this week:
1) month-end financial reports for sewing group
2) month-end financial reports for library group
3) filing general paperwork for both groups
4) meeting prep for both groups
5) Tuesday night meeting with all of the members of the sewing group
6) Thursday night meeting with library group
7) Focus cleaning upstairs bathroom
8) dejunk yard and shed
9) pay bills
10) start figuring out taxes

Busy week.

Good morning! It is still morning here for 15 more minutes. I slept in today. Dh got up early to go for a run.

It is sunny and beautiful today! It was supposed to rain yesterday but it didn't. We had a fun Easter with everyone here. We had way too much food - and too much candy too. There is still a lot of candy and leftover cake at our house, so I'll have to figure out how to navigate that. . . .Fortunately, there is also a lot of leftover lamb, which we'll eat one of these evenings. The Easter egg hunt was fun. Dfriend brought a hard boiled egg w/ each person's name on it so everyone had to search. :) Several eggs were not found - the chocolate foil covered ones. Al the hard boiled ones were found!.

I always like the day after a holiday b/c my house is pretty clean and I have yummy leftovers in my fridge. :)

Today: I have
x s2s-ed,
x done a little more research online and via a phone call re: camping for our small group this summer,
x sent out an email to the small group communicating this info,
x responded to social email from dfriend in NY, the encourager friend who stayed here the weekend before this one.
x found and printed out one piece of info dh needs for taxes. I think he has everything together to send off to the CPA now. I don't know how people are able to file so early; we were still getting reports a couple weeks ago. I want to say one even arrived last week, but I'm not sure it was last week. . . .

To do:
- finish a.m. routine
- Heb homework
- upload a photo for dd17's test retake
- maybe get together with a friend who is struggling?
- dinner: leftovers. We have several options.

Dh is leaving for NL this afternoon. Dd14 has a friend sleeping over tonight.

Behind. . . I'm SO behind in so many things. (1) fitness goals - I feel like I am going backward rather than forward (2) parts of the house could use some decluttering, though our house as a whole is not highly cluttered. Books need to be organized (3) I was going to revamp my cards and get back into them this year. Hasn't happened yet. I DO have a quiet week this week, so I'm hoping to make progress.
