I hope I can find something 'wacky' to do today. I never see that word but what I think of Wacky Woman from the old boards.

I've been up (and feeling good) since about 6am. DD made a chocolate/strawberry shake which I'm about to treasure. Oh yeah! Tastes like neopolitan ice cream. Nice way to start the day.

Have a free day and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. DD had already picked up and packed away gd's stuffed animals. I had put them all in a pile as I picked them up here 'n there in her room. She can retrieve the ones she wants when she comes back home. Put all her doll clothes, accessories in a pink duffel bag & put that away in her closet. Hopefully by the time she comes home she'll be beyond all that. She should be at least going on 17, perhaps older. We're hoping that by her being there all summer that perhaps she'll start catching up to where she should be in school -she's only in 7th grade and almost 15.

Puttered in my bedroom last night and have it at least neat now. Starting to put things (in an orderly fashion) in boxes & bags to take home. Hoping to leave more than I take.

Dee and I were posting at the same time, but I haven't had any coffee yet this morning so she won the race.

After running errands yesterday, today I need to
* Tidy the kitchen.
* Finish putting away the groceries and other shopping.
* Gather recycling and trash for tomorrow's pick up.
* Decide what to do for this week's Focus area.
* If it isn't raining this afternoon, I can take a trash bag outside and tidy the yard, too, pick up trash that has been hiding under snow.
It's Apron Day!

Unfortunately, no, Harriet. Know she was 'cutting' because of other obvious signs. Even her teacher at school noticed and texted dd just before gd went to the ranch. The sheriff who was here for interviews noticed, as did dd (for 1 she noticed a heart shaped scar on her thigh when she was wearing short shorts one day). So at least there's no opportunity for that phase right now.

Time to get off here and get the bgs working. Need to make today count for something. I need my own place. I'd be much more motivated -I think.

I haven't had coffee yet either, Booksaver. Just sipping away at my shake. Makes for a lot of drinking first thing in the morning.

I woke up with more research on my mind. Trying to learn what signs to watch for with LO asthma. Yesterday was the 2nd doctor who diagnosis him with asthma. I think I was in denial with the first diagnosis (in Oct). I know it can be life threatening if not treated quickly so I'm going to take it serious now. I ordered a stethoscope (amazon) to help me listen to LO chest sounds.

It froze AGAIN last night!!! Argh!! We are two weeks beyond the normal last freeze date for this area. After i go LO settled last night, I went outside and did my best to save the tender plants. Maybe....just maybe.....some of them will survive.

Today DGS18 and I am getting together to celebrate his birthday. This is the 3rd day we have tried to schedule time together but one or the other of us had to postpone each time. Maybe....just maybe......we will finally connect today.

Okay, we had snow yesterday with a high in the low 20's. Today is sunny and the high is to be 58 and no wind. The weatherman is sure that the cold weather is over and spring will continue. We are to be in the high 70's, low 80's by the weekend.

Good morning to the village! Today I need to get ready for the temple board meeting tonight, continue with the bonus room upstairs and continue with unpacking and cleaning up my car. (Unpacking because I have stuff from the office there.)

OKay, I don't know if you remember that my ds had asthma and has outgrown it. From about age 3 or 4, he took Singular (now available as a generic) and used a "control" inhaler and a peak flow meter twice a day. The peak flow meter is just blowing into a little device that measures how well the air comes out of the lungs and can help you tell when he's getting into trouble.

Glad to see Lucylee reporting in last night - I was wondering when she would be back.

Dee, I'm glad your dgd is getting the help she so desperately needs. I know your dd has been such a conscientious mom to her - isn't it amazing what can be attributed to the genetic baggage we get?

I need to get busy, need the BGS here as well.
-Take out recycling to curb
-throw on clothes and walk the ddogs
-start some eggs boiling
-sort, and start a lol
-meds and vitamins for me

Hopefully last night was our last freeze of the winter. It is above freezing now, so DH is opening up MPB. Then he will come home and stay with LO while I have time with DGS18. LO has cried and begged to go to school this morning. After giving him 5 prescription meds and 1 OTC med this morning we tried. However, even with a cover over his mouth/nose to keep the cold air out, we didn't make it out of the driveway before he got sick to his stomach from coughing so much. So.....he is home for the day. Hopefully the meds can work today and he will be able to go on field trip (concert) tomorrow.

Thank you for the encouragement. I hope LO outgrows asthma too! He has such bad allergies that I haven't learned to decipher if the symptoms are coming from allergies or asthma. Or maybe just a chest cold. The fever isn't coming from any of those possibilities.....it is from the bronchitis. I'm feeling very inadequate right now.
