Well, I'll start =if LynLee posts I'll just cut & paste.
Managed to stay in bed until 7:25 today. Sleeping better.
Have a load of gd's odd clothes to fold this morning. Folded 1 load last night. There are a few things in there that dd will probably have to drop off to her at some point. Lot of things too small & will go to the G will box.
Finally found out why dh went to the Dr on Monday. Things are a bit chaotic up there as the hospital in the next town is closing (fairly quickly too). Know his cardiologist has one office there and they're trying to get things consolidated. Seems the technologist won't be there for his appointment next Thursday & they needed to do a heart ultrasound. So they had called him Friday & asked if he could come in for that part on Monday. Still has his appointment next Thurs. So, I can stop wondering.
Going to lunch with dsisil & 1 of her sister's today. Then I'm meeting dd at school tonight (6:30) to go to Trivia night at a nearby restaurant with some of her colleagues. Glad she's finally able to do this kind of thing. She picked up an extra shift for bridge care after school so it will be that late before she's done.
Have to wash my hair this morning. Hoping I can repeat what the hairdresser did last week. Sometimes hard doing my hair with only 1 arm, but I adjust. Could be worse things for sure. Count myself blessed that I even have partial use of my left side. When I think of the road ahead for all those injured in Boston...........
Finished up the guest bathroom yesterday and a little more in gd's room. Think I'll go in there and spend my first 10 minutes doing some more picking up. Getting close then we can vacuum, etc and do a little arranging. Been trying to organize things as I go. (putting like with like)
Been trying to get dd's glass stove top looking good, but it's a hard go. Keep hoping I can find something to make it glisten and clean up some of the burned in spots.
I'm off and running -breakfast first I guess. Meds are done.

ANZAC Day here today
It was a day for marches, services, flyovers today. And tv programs honouring the many who fought through trying times. The Turkey Tours for The Dawn Service are so popular that there is a lottery to choose who can go years in advance.
The old F1-11's are all retired now so some other modern plane flew over and about with lots of noise - It seemed to be below the tree line so I missed seeing it. Or maybe the plane was far ahead of the noise. The old planes from a historical museum sounded much more 'friendly" as they looped about.
I stayed home and washed today. 2 loads.

Morning y'all..
I've been up for a while. Yesterday I trimmed my tree in the front yard. It flowers in the spring and covered with small yellow flowers. Usually doesn't bother me...but I stood under it for 2 hours yesterday and was covered with lots of pollen by the time I finished my work. Now I'm sufferening from red puff eyes, a hacky cough and runny nose...going to put off the rest of the tree trimming till tomorrow. I've taken some OTC meds, but it hasn't kicked in yet...
Dee...I use a ceramic cooktop cleaner that I by at Wally world. Its called carbona. Its a paste with a scrubber specifically made for glass cook tops. I give it a B+ rating. Windex just put out a new multisurface cleaner that works pretty well. I like it because I can use it on all of my kitchen...it cleans my granite counters and stainless steel as well without leaving a smudgy film. Much better than regular Windex. And I've found that Comet's softscrub works as well. The other thing you might try is a steamer. If you have one for your floor, it will also work on your glasstop.
Had my coffee, one pup fed, one to go. Need to water my flowers so will do that while feeding next pup. Working on picking up my footprints...kitchen is cleaned. I slept in the other bedroom last night so that makes 2 beds to do...that will add another 3 minutes to my morning
Am doing the rest of my dreaded shopping this morning...I need a suitcase. I was going to send my luggage through, but for the cost I can buy a suitcase the size I need to carry it one.
I'm off...hope y'all have a wonderful day...glad Lucylee is home...How many days until you turn your keys in??? Counting with you

I'm kind of in la-la land today. Temple bd meeting last night went well enough, tho not well attended. Came home feeling nauseated and somewhat disoriented but hard to remember now what I felt disoriented about. Went to bed early and slept very poorly - I don't know whether it was the apnea mouthguard or what. I took ibuprofen and a benydryl in the middle of the night as mouth was uncomfortable.
I had big plans to run a slew of errands today but can't get going. I need to be at a graveside funeral at 2 p.m. and go directly to the dentist's office from there to get two little "spots" filled.
I seem completely happy sitting here and surfing the internet, tho.
Five things to do right now:
-make a list of at least five errands that I could run in the time I'll have
-clear/wipe kitchen counters
-start a lol
-pack up shoes to drop at post office to return
-make the bed
I still need to walk ddogs, but dMacs isn't feeling great, have been debating whether he needs to go back to vet. He seems lethargic to me.

A VERY long day yesterday in the city. DH's appointment with the hematologist was a waste - basically are the meds making you sick - OK come back in 4 weeks.
But we did get to the tile place to pick out the tile for our bathroom remodel. Saw some awesome models and took pictures to shower our contractor.
Then to H4H to find some cabinets for the garage. Found two that worked but only one fit in the trunk of the car. Other wouldn't fit in back seat, but at least we have one. Picked up cheap gas, subs and some groceries on the way home.
Now I have to add the pictures to the scope of work for the contractor. I still haven't decided on medicine cabinets to replace big ugly mirror on the wall. To be continued . . .
Today, I have no "outside the house" responsibilities. I will pick up foot prints and work on the pictures of tile, etc.

Good morning!
Playing catch up today. Laundry is spinning (wasn't home to get to it on Monday), kitchen is clean, dishwasher is running, lists are made. Spent time this week with dfriend; we talked for hours

. Dh & I went to H ome D epot the other day for potting soil & a Fuschia plant. They seem to be the only place that has them. The farmers market we frequent used to carry them but not for a few years now. Ended up with a dozen geraniums, too, & something new: English Daisies. They are so pretty in shades of pink, white & cranberry red.
Spent time planting yesterday in beautiful sunny weather. Brought ddog out with me & she stretched out on the grass in some shade. Whenever I looked over she either had her head down & eyes closed, or head up with her nose high in the air, sniffing

. When dh stopped to admire the bed with the English Daisies, I told him it was my Downton Abbey garden

.
I need to make a quick grocery store run, & stop by the post office & dollar store for cards on the way. Would like to be finished with the cleaning chores on my list before heading out, so I better get moving. Next up: take winter comforter off the bed, bring it, all towels & bath rugs to the laundry room. They won't get washed today, but they'll be in the right place! Switch laundry, clean bathrooms, put out fresh towels & rugs, clean noseprints off the patio door glass (the dogs, not ours

), fold & put away clean clothes.
Off I go. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Back for a second...
Dove...my pups do the same thing, only Williis is my sniffer.
Went outside to water plants and ended up filling in my dirt hole from the tree stump I dug out. We are having some drainage work done in the backyard and the the company will be digging. I had planned to replant a tree in the hole, but now that the company will be here I'll let them do it
Sweetie just walked in and told me how nice it looks in the backyard and how much he appreciates what I've done....translation, thank God you did all the dirt digging and not me...JK
Question: Does 1 hour of digging and hauling dirt, plus 3o minutes of doing the same with gravel equal a weight training session???
My Kentucy party seems to be growing...I don't really know what the count has grown to. I was trying to keep it small, but people are so used to this party that they keep calling me asking if I'm going to have one this year. I have everything I need except my sandwich platter which I have the grocery store make up...now need to add a second, but all I have to do with that is send Sweetie to pick it up when he gets the ice. The party was going to be a "come as you are, no hats required" but all my women friends keep saying..I'm going to wear a hat anyway.
Sweetie and I have decided to invite our new neighbors to the right and behind us...Might just as well then I don't have to be so concerned about the outside noise level since they're going to be contributing to it.
Harriet...thanks for the advice. I'm not having a hair shedding event...its more like a hair removal one.
So much for my morning shower...need to take a second on and then its off I go to the stores.
