I will be doing that soon around here. This house could use a whole dance troupe.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I have DD's family coming Sat to sleep over after we all go to their niece's graduation party. They are also bringing along a sister-in-law's boyfriend who will stay. I have never met him before.

Been trying to do some of the things necessary for this weekend, but making little progress. Between helping DH with his vehicle repairs and other stuff, time just slips away. I have all the sheets washed and 1 set hanging up right now. Did most of the sewing so I can put that all away and clean up the dining/sewing room.

I must do a grocery shopping. I went last evening for stuff for lunches today for DH but didn't have my recipes ready and wasn't feeling really spiffy for a big shopping. Now I must move trucks around for DH and bring one back here. I simply MUST get to see my lady friend at hospice before it is too late. Tried to do that yesterday but was helping DH fix the clothes dryer at our rental and that took all afternoon.

Have to take food to church tomorrow for the funeral also.

Feeling overwhelmed, like I can't get this all done. I guess I'll start and see how it goes.

My pick for idol did not win but I was able to catch that news on yahoo from the other time zone so I could do my hair and catch Grey's A. and then Scandal.

My hair turned out great I'm so happy it was bugging me so glad I got that done last night! Yippie! Doing the happy dance!

Church yd. sale is this morning so I'm heading over there in a few.

I've been out to feed the chickens this morning, today is the first day pullets are out of their pen and seem to be doing better they can get away from the one fryer roo that was bugging them I'm calling him Stewie for soon to be in the stew pot! LOL!

Waving before I head out to a yd. sale this morning. I'll be back in a while after the dew is off I'd like to get to some digging and planting in the back yard taking out bulbs in the chickens area and plant some seeds I know what area I want the carrots in.

Yikes, I see Harmony is in the same boat as I am getting ready for graduation company. I will be doing the conga all day, after I get back from WM.

I have colored my hair and done my toenails. My bs took a dive so I am recovering from that. Usually that slows me down for the rest of the day, but it can't today.

Dh called and the plumber will be here at 1. Dh will be home to deal with that. He is worried that with the tile on the wall it won't fit. We have had it over the hole and it fit, but he's worried that it won't when they are actually doing it. I. don't. have. time. to. worry. about. it!

I have to wait for the sprinkler to turn off. The last one is by the driveway and I don't want to get the SUV wet.

Better head to WM.

Trucks are moved around, one loaded. I drove to the nursing home with it and visited my friend on the way home. She is very quiet, doesn't talk, but she is very aware of whats going on around her. I'm not sure all the nurses aides are equally proficient in figuring out what she is trying to ask for. I witnessed 2 of them get different results from the questions and hand squeezing.

Waiting for my coffee pot to finish then I'll take a travel cup with me and go do that shopping next.

Dh called at 11:15 and said the plumber was on his way. He gave me instructions on 2 things to bring to his attention. The guy was done by noon. Dh was home in time to talk to him. This is the 3rd time we have had the plumbers here on this project. This guy was here the 1st time, too. He complimented dh on how nice it looks and what a great job he did.

Yeah, dh went back to work. Now I can start my 30 minute timer and see how that goes. I'll check in later.

Good morning everyone. The school meeting yesterday lasted THREE HOURS!!! The upshot of it is that DD11 has been diagnosed high functioning autism. I had doubts about that until I read the entire report. A lot of things now make more sense. In a way it is depressing, but I keep telling myself, nothing has changed, she was always this way. The only difference is that we see the pattern now and she is eligible for help. They also tested her for ADHD, which she doesn't have. She no longer tests eligible for dyslexia services because she has had so much help, she is no longer 1.5 standard deviations below norm. However, everyone is convinced that it is there. The good news is that with an autism diagnosis, she is eligible for whatever she needs, so she will still get help for the symptoms of dyslexia.

Last night, I picked up another of Gravity and Levity's siblings. This one is feral and feisty. He (or she) will be tamed though, the feisty ones are easier than the terrified ones. I also did a LOL and some sewing. Today, I am eating lunch out then getting an oil change. I cannot delay the latter any longer. This morning Gravity escaped into the garage, it took a while to get him back. He is definitely daring. Tonight's plan is to go to the knit/crochet group, then work with the new kitten.

Elizabeth: sometimes labels are limiting, sometimes they are helpful. If you can use this a road map to help you navigate through parenting, then the label will be helpful even though it doesn't change who your daughter is.

I'm in La Grange now. Columbus for dinner (we hope) and then Cleveland to sleep.

Can't get the chair of the board to send out a newsletter. Since all this has happened, nothing has been communicated to the members and adherents that aren't in church each week. The only reason the chair knows (she doesn't attend church) is that she is on the board and I keep her informed. Otherwise, she'd know nothing (not that the minister is sick, or that she's resigned or the upcoming fundraising.) GRRRR.

Since they had decided to go to a service every second week and then changed their minds, it would be a good idea to send out something saying there is service as usual in case someone heard one rumour and not the update to the rumour.

This isn't rocket science. And it doesn't take effort - it is an email and posted on the websites.
