Need to clean up for dcleaning lady first of all, then take ddogs to walk after she gets here.

I think I am going to try for some garage clean up today and load some stuff to go to Goodwill, perhaps can drop off while the rain stops for awhile today. Ds did some clean up in his room and brought down several bags of stuff for Goodwill that he stowed in the garage. There's also all the stuff from the move still out there, and since moving last year I've stashed stuff for Goodwill out there, and then dh has gone out and moved stuff around until it's all mixed back up...

Also need to see what I can do in upstairs bonus room today.

I have a temple letter I'll email to secretary to print on letter head, hoping she can manage that. Also need her to print the envelope with the printer instead of scrawling. I'm just unreasonable like that, ya know?

Tonight dh and I will go to temple for services and dinner. Maybe I'll make challah today.

Oh all the possibilities!

Hoping Kathryn had a good night -pain free! Hope you're soon on the mend and back home getting back to normal!

I'm slowly getting moving. Had to eat FIRST. Was feeling pretty poor and didn't want to get out of bed. BS was 65 and it was just plain too low. Beginning to come around now.

HAVE to do a LOL this morning. It's been so wet here that the laundry room has been filled with 'seasonal' campers trying to dry things out. Hoping to get up there early enough that I can commandeer a washer & dryer.

Dh has been out & about (with a helper) getting the water pumps going. He can't get them started but he can 'direct'.

Wonder where our hummers have gone -haven't seen any in a couple of days now. Maybe there's just too much activity going on around here -OR could it be all the noise from the pumps?

Good Morning

I slept like a log last night and woke up feeling groggy. I blame over eating for the druggy groggy feeling this morning. Hopefully a cup of coffee followed by a day of eating what my body needs will set things to right.

Helia - WOW! Your vacation plans sounds like a blast with family and friends. I'm excited for you

I'm on a mission to finish 2012 tax prep today and get it into the hands of CPA. All paperwork is done. I'm finishing up the last of the mileage now. Then just need to print the recap of income/expense information and put the spreadsheets & digital documentation onto a CD. i'M GETTING EXCITED! Less than two hours of work is left to do!!

waving to Twins. and all who come in.

/it is Fabulous to have hot and cold running water at push of a lever, and off properly at will too.
It fits over water filter jug, and a bucket.
Its doubly fab to have my gate working on 2 hinges, with bottom latch fitting into its indicated spot. First time in years for that one..

washing has come in - forecast showers weren't here - its away - and another set washed and outside.

Clean up on dog vomit. I'm not sure what that was about.

Prayers for health and healing for all on sick / injured list. ((( Mr Dee, Kathryn)))
Dee - you have been an inspiration for finding how to do things one handed. And hair washing / showering today. Also a stroke survivor I know got me washing dishes.

Managed a nap today again.

bed time on the couch now. I thought about sheet wrestling today and passed. I might ask someone to help feed pillows into fresh pillow cases, and put a fresh sheet on the couch. May wash those lightweight rugd if the sun is bright tomorrow.

good night

I've fed the chickens, spiffed up the kitchen and need to make up the bed. Two girls here today for at least part of the day today, H. is at work they have a big pour on a new church going in. SO glad it's cooler here. Sipping coffee bs # was too high to have breakfast, I over did it on my intake yesterday any way I'm not hungry.

I was thinking when my gpa had his gal bladder out they did not get all the stones out of his bile duct and had to go back in and do that he made it okay through that surgery.

Still alive. MRCP (mri of the biliary duct system) is as 12:15. We are timing the morphine so it will still be working when I go for that at 11:30. I'm going to get dh in here a bit early to give me a sponge bath because I stink.

lousy night. Morphine is only last 3 hours instead of 4 so high pain and nausea from 4 - 6. Morphine shot was at 1:15 so there wasn't much time for a good sleep in there. Been dosing all morning. Just met my day nurse (she came on at 7:30 but I was asleep whenever she looked in.)

Blood draw was easy because they let me use heat on my arm. Results are not promising so I'll likely have an endoscopic procedure today. Haven't seen a doctor yet. Not likely will until the procedure.

Good morning, villagers ~
DH is at work today so I'll be having a regular version of Fab Friday instead of holiday version.

Last night I called to check on DMom. She has been battling pneumonia for over a week. She went for a chest xray and CT scan last week to confirm the diagnosis because she was feeling so bad and getting very weak. She was very happy that they were able to give her a prescription antibiotic that she could take at home rather than having to be admitted to the hospital for IVs. When I talked to her Tuesday, she was still coughing a lot but had finally been able to eat a little real food (after several days of just soda crackers and water or decaf coffee). Last night she sounded much better and mentioned wanting to go buy a few groceries today just to get out of her apartment.

After I talked to DM, I watched the library's DVD for Argo. I enjoyed it. I had read reviews when it was in the theaters so knew that it was based on a true story but it's not a documentary so they did not make it totally historically accurate. Knowing that much made it easy to relax and enjoy the plot, acting, and costumes/hairstyles.

Today's 6x6:
* put something for supper in the slow cooker
* finish month-end financials for library group and send out with notes
* return DVD to library along with the empty boxes that I forgot to deliver last week
* research prices for suitcases
* clean up an old wheelie briefcase to see if I can use it for library group notebooks
* dejunk office

The office is going to take multiple sessions. :|

Nancy, that is an interesting point, especially with Kathryn now anticipating an MRI of the duct system.

Kathryn, I hope the pain relief extends to encompass these procedures in the best ways possible.

Very hopeful that some obvious answer presents itself. Today.

BookSaver, if she has gone into pneumonia, she is highly likely to be experiencing low vitamin D levels and would benefit from testing and supplementation. She also needs to ask what probiotic regimen she is to start, now that they have prescribed antibiotic. I never got over the continuing prescription of antibiotics (scary) until one doctor finally said I should have been on probiotics to rebuild my resistance.

Good thoughts for KIC and Lynlee. Hope you get better quickly. There is someone else on the sick list but I can't remember.

Last night's fireworks were awesome. Mother Nature decided to add her 2 cent's worth and we had lightening in the middle of the fireworks. I think a friend got a picture and if she did, I will post on my blog.

We have now turned in our badges, radios and golf cart so we are civilians again. The Market went well and we received lots of kudos.

Tomorrow we travel to Sturgis, SD for weekend rally and then we don't know where we are going. We will flip a coin, I guess. Heads we go right, tails we go left.

For today - we rest.
