What or who are you seeing this Sat.?
Here some of the options are.
Dson is going to help with our new TV so some time shopping for that is on the docket.
I am watching a garden show.
Seeing new paint on the coop inside and a few modifications trim boards ends need cut off the nest boxes. New paint on the inside to see the color and a board attached to hold tools, and step for reaching the loft area.

I am seeing the Zinc lozenge bottle and the vitamin C bottle. I guess you could say I'm hitting the bottle today!
My cold moved some more in the night and is settling in my ears and chest. I've taken decongestant and have Vicks on my chest. Also acetaminophen for my achiness. Took a long shower and have enjoyed my tea although now that I'm not sipping it, a bad cough has settled in. Dang.
Goals for today:
1. get my new headset mike working (especially important if I lose my voice tomorrow since I'll need it in all three pulpits (only one of the three churches currently has a sound system and it is a hand held mike.)
2. Finish prayers
3. see if I can sing. (Not a given, especially since I sing lead and there are some Es I was iffy on before but C should be impossible for me now.) The professional opera singer who grew up in our church is home for the weekend, I'm hoping I might press her to sing my part at least in my church. No guarantee she'll come to service, though.
4. Bake soft chocolate chip cookies (does anyone know if they stay soft for more than 24 hours?)
5. Bake pineapple squares
6. make a jellied carrot salad
7. make a cranberry salad (definitely optional.)
8. (maybe) help dh peel the potatoes for tomorrow. We'll get back from the third service at 3:30 and are due at dinner for 5:30, I think, so this isn't really necessary but might make the day go better.

Lilac: thanks for the update last night. I'm kind of excited to see what happens for you. I can't imagine moving twice in so short a time but then again that is exactly our plan and why we are only renting. If high-rise life isn't for us, we'll move (plus, because we are renting, we could get booted out when the lease ends.)
Dd and dsil have updated their road trip photos and travelog. They are driving in t-shirts because the heat is on in the car for Fluffy (their albino corn snake.)
Ds has at least posted new pictures so I know he's alive. He was on Bondi beach yesterday.

Just helped DH and our friend, Lew, in washing the thick layer of grasshoppers off the front of our rig. They were thick thru Kansas and south. The ones here in NM could be harnessed to help pull the MH they are so big.
Went to Mexico yesterday and found a big, bronzed colored framed mirror for the bathroom. I'll place it on the wall opposite the medicine cabinet and will be able to see the back of my head when combing my hair. It is embossed with kokopellies ( Indian flute player), cacti, and other Indian symbols. Think it will be great in there.
Also found some bronze switch plates but I'm not sure what type of configuration we have now so showed my friend what I liked and she will purchase and bring them to me when they visit in December.
Next up is to wash dishes and remake the bed. This place is getting a bit thick.

I am seeing that dh's info for his cruise with his parents is in his inbox. Good thing he gave me the heads up this morning that it was booked yesterday when he was at his parents.
I also saw a text from my sister. I will discuss that in another location.
There is also a long email going around the family regarding dinner plans for Thanksgiving dinner which will be on Sunday at my dad's because he wants some turkey. His request, therefore my sister, brother and I are making it happen. My dd even got the day off work AND I have Monday off.
Last weekend Mike and I worked on storage areas. I now have a hanging rod with some space on it to store stuff that would usually be in our closet. I have been flipping through some "style" type books, and have decided to toss some clothes that aren't me. 3 bright t shirts are on the way out the door. I haven't even tried on any pants yet.

Now to dry my hair and then get baking.

Woke up at 6:30 a.m. w/o dawn simulator. Got up. Did s2s, dressed, and am seeing index cards with titles on them, to add rough outlines to. Will be seeing spiral notebooks next, to log rough outlines into stories.
Will be seeing laundry. I got 3 dark tops dirty last night!

Can't believe it. Miss Piggy!
Am seeing light showers, will see snail mail when it arrives, am seeing plenty of DH's college football.
Woke with a word in my mind, did a "Google" search and it turns out to be an odd-sounding rap music group, which kinda blew me away. Never heard of them before. I'm not "into" rap, so why did this word in my dream over and over wake me up?
Did Scar Away on my nose, clipped fingernails, and did breakfast, meds, and peak flow meter.
I'm mostly seeing outlines-in-progress and laundry today. Might crochet on dgd's Christmas afghan, too.
I think "seeing" is very important, with the eyes, and our hearts, too.

Good Morning!
We have enjoyed a lazy Saturday morning. LO, Great Grandma and I went to local library book reading for the young ones. The theme was our state two biggest universities and the rivalry was good natured. Both DMom and myself won door prizes.
Oven is busy baking. I've made a big meatloaf, potatoes and 2 pies. I'm still in testing mode with the pie crust recipe. I suspect this week recipe is a blooper too.

Sitting for 5 minutes while first batch of cookies bake. I'll need to do three pans and they say to do them one pan at a time. The squares are finished and cooling.
We went over to the church and set up the sound system. Sounds good. Also dropped something off at my senior friend's place and got a hug. She insisted despite me saying it was a bad idea because I am sick.
