My dMacs has PT today, the neighborhood has a chili cookoff, and I'd like to get some pansies into planters now that our weather has turned cool. We have our first frost this morning and the sun is just now getting into the back yard to warm it.

Need to be heading out w dMacs in about an hour...
-breakfast
-meds/vitamins etc.
-s2s

Awoken by a phone call from my brother at @ 5:50 a.m. I've spoken to him, my dd and my sister. I'm okay right now. There is a short note in MO and JC. Thanks so very much for being here.

(((((CathyS))))))

I've been productive this morning, but not doing cards assigned to each time slot. This is the only day of the week that I don't need to have breakfast served plus LO & myself dressed and ready to go in a timely manner.

I've worked on phone software maintenance
** uninstalled 22 software apps that I installed but haven't been using.
** uninstalling updates to 16 software apps. I would uninstall these if it could be done without rooting phone.
** moved 7 software apps and their data to SD card

Next up -
** several errands in town

Good morning! Leaf raking and leaf blowing on the agenda here. We must get them to the road so the town will vacuum them up. That is my favorite thing about living here. What a load of work that saves us!

Errand day yesterday. Found 2 fun items at thrift store and donated 2 items, so it evened out!

Got word that DBIL will visit in a few weeks. That assures that we will get a few things done before then!

Ellyphant, I sure wish our county would pick up our leaves!

So sorry about Elizabeth's foot. Wondering where on her foot it is broken and why it isn't in a cast or boot. DD1 had broken foot when little, one of the little bones on top of the foot right down from her toe and was in a cast up to her knee. I had a couple broken toes and they can't do anything with them but straighten and tape to the next one. Yuck.

Harriet, sorry about more holiday drama. You do have your share of that!

Been taking it easy, my bones do not like this colder weather. Colder for us, that is. We are in the 60's in the morning and put the fan in the window and get the inside temp down to 72 or so then shut everything up. It doesn't go up to over 76 then. But I did a bunch of walking around 2 days ago again and my back is giving me fits. I'm going to try to stay more active today and see if it won't loosen up.

:D HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, MR. & MRS. ATLANTIC FLYER! :D

(((CathyS)))

I'm talking to DD while I type with 1 finger. :) It's nice to talk to her.

Had a rough night so I'm not 100%. Will keep it a simple Saturday! :) Good opening theme for today.

Breezes are coming for Monday so the fog will be rolling out!!! :!: :P

DD reads a lot so gives me what she's read and it's like a real library treat! ;)

Have a great simple Saturday! :D

P. S. I made myself walk 30 minutes, I'm off to s2s now, the day's cloudy outdoors, but not as bad or as heavy as it has been. I'm full of endorphins now, ready to hit the day better than I felt at 9:30 a.m. It was so wonderful talking to DD and I love her so much. ♥ She's turned into a bright, compassionate, insightful and lovely adult. I'm lucky, too, because Dson is humorous, compassionate, kind, has great work ethics, is mechanical and fixes their van, etc... He even took our old broken refrigerator and he's found out what's wrong and will order the part. He's amazing, too. I don't know how I was Blessed with 2 great adult kids because when they were young, we had some family "challenges". :( We did our best, were involved in Church, Scouts, soccer, gymnastics, ballet, and the kids had a good life, too. I am happy they turned out to be the adults they are. I feel so very blessed and the grandchildren are good kids, too. I just love it when DD calls or sends me a letter. Or when Dson calls or emails, too. It's nice to keep in touch with our loved ones. I'm sounding all sentimental, aren't I? Oh, well. There are worst things in the world than feeling very blessed. :D I lucked out with a great DH, too. ♥

Hope Everyone's day is going well on simple Saturday! :D
