If you are in one of the many time zones that jump into spring today, time piece wise at least, how are you going making the required adjustments? How many clocks and watches at your place? Maybe you remembered to change them all last night.
I made a new list of converted meeting times - not much corresponds to my schedule - but I listed them anyway. I hope I did my maths correctly.
Summer time Daylight Saving remains in the southern states here I think. My tv and its on board programming does not compute that we do not have it so the time is out for all these months of the year.. Or maybe that's just some channels. It confuses me anyway.
Hoping you can all figure out when your time is at, and the time for those you love, or have business with.
My ph call person for tomorrow is in our west, and is forced to start work at 6am to be same business hours as eastern daylight saving states. More the pity for her.

Sunday - some spring forward
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

I'm springing too!! My alarm clock is an atomic clock so it resets itself - no worries here on tracking time changes. LOL! I've changed the mw clock and that's it so far. It usually takes us a few days to get all the clocks changed, but we're OK b/c we all know of the change and use time pieces, like cell phones, computers, etc., where time changes automatically. LOL!
I'm only here b/c dh is still away.
I am s2s-ed, have fed the canines, and am drinking my tea. Next - teeth and face and dry my hair. Crate the dogs - and I'll be out the door to church.

Greeting ladies as "time marches on" I read that in yesterday's thread just had to repeat it Lynnl. I think it was you who wrote it.
I woke up on my own at five which was 6:00 last wk. Set the rest of the clocks excpt for my watch, turned on the tablet so it would do it automatically and that happened. Fed and watered all beaked creatures here. Hens are out hunting worms. Finished a book last night. Today I am going to get at some of my knitting while it is day light dark navy is a challenge to do in the evenings.
Trash is out. Hens started squacking when they saw me, doves are cooing and other song birds are some I am hearing letting me know they are back. It is 51* outside lovely day 61* our high but we have some much needed rain in the forecast!

Re: Sunday - some spring forward
Good morning, villagers ~
Spring forward ... I've made it a habit through the years to wait on changing my watch and alarm clock until the next day, after the "atomic" clock in the kitchen and the clock on my computer do their automatic updates. That way I know for sure that I'm not mixing up the date!
(I'm not yet in the habit of using my cellphone as a clock.) After I check the kitchen wall clock, then I sync the microwave and oven clocks to it, and my watch. Then I go to the front room and reset the machines there = TV, DVR, DVD/VHS player. Eventually I do my own alarm clock.
DH takes care of all of his own stuff -- except when he forgets to do his alarm clock, and then he has a rough Monday morning. This year he is coping with losing an hour by taking tomorrow off .. and hope that won't make Tuesday the rough morning.
This morning I've been trying to cuop all around the site.
Yesterday's sewing group meetings went as badly as I feared, although I did get hugs from a few friends I haven't seen all winter and that felt wonderful. We had the educational/supposed-to-be-fun meeting with group members first at 9:30, then afterward right into the board meeting. Both were very long.
At the board meeting, according to the new pres & vice-pres, everything the previous team did was wrong and/or not enough. This was the 3rd board meeting in a row with them saying these things. I am appalled at the disrespect, especially since several of us from the previous team are still on the board, which means the new people are saying all of this critical stuff either right to our faces, or to each other at the board meeting in front of all of us. (Can they really be that obtuse?!)
I thought I was being overly sensitive until a couple of the board members came up to me after the board meeting and said they want to resign right now. I hope I was able to soothe ruffled feathers. I agreed that we all were having kind of a rough transition, and asked them to give it a little more time to see if things will get better when we get some nicer weather.
Next up we have a 3-day sewing retreat/day camp March 20-22. This time I want to finish the projects for which the supplies are taking up the most space in my house. I know I have a big bag of fabrics to make the little tote bags we give to a local organization that works with preschoolers. If I can get all of those fabrics washed and cut to size before the 1st day of retreat, I'll spend at least 1 of the days sewing those. They're fun to make because once I get into the rhythm, they don't need any concentration and I can socialize at the same time. That's the most fun of our sewing retreats, that we all chat and laugh a lot while we're working.
Kathryn ~ I'm keeping good thoughts that your friends' financial woes will be resolved so they can buy your house at your price and, more importantly, on your schedule. Also watching to see how your toddler play area at church worked out.

BOIING, BOING, BOING... every 15 minutes on the grandfather clock as Mike puts it ahead one hour. We have it set on "Westminster chimes" so we get 4 notes at 15 after, 8 notes on the half hour, etc.
Clock on the stove and alarm clock in bedroom and computer have been done, but I can't figure out my cell phone.
Mike has been giving me a fashion show this morning. I am getting all the pants and his new suit. I need to iron
some shirts.
The suitcases are open on the bed and ready for loading. Weighing will be later, then re-packing and re-weighing and possibly locking at least one.

Re: Sunday - some spring forward
Kathryn, I'm glad to know the "old" buyers won't be a problem with "New" real estate lady. That is awesome.
I also have an atomic clock on my wall. But I feel confused that I've gotten the time change right. I woke earlier than I normally do, and I suppose that was cause I was worried I'd oversleep too long with the one hour lost. Thought it was later, looked at the alarm clock wrong and went back to check it again... did notice the sunshine when I woke. I suppose it will be easier for me to get up now. I awake groggy when it is still dark out.
Really shouldn't be on here as I have lots to do. Anyway, here I sit...
Will stop on my way in today to pick up a birthday present that needs mailed out, and I can do that Monday morning on my way in and that'll be another thing I don't need to worry about after DH is home. I can tell by what he's saying he's gong to keep me really busy with work stuff and I do hope he'll take things slow.
I did that last chore at my desk first thing so that's caught up.
Next up: clean up 2 rooms (at least) run dishwasher, oh I can't even think right now but there's a lot to do!

Morning y'all...
I'm Sprung
No time change for me...DLST only effects some of my cable timetable for several of my programs.
My garden is planted and my sunflowers are finally standing straight like soldiers. I started them in a pot and then transferred them to their new home. The flowers were a bit droopy for several days, but seem to have perked up over night. I also planted gerainiums, petunias, and a tomato plant. Now it time to sit back and enjoy whatever happens. Remember last year I had a quail make her nest in on of my large pots.
Today is my take it easy day with nothing special planned. I've already done my morning routines, including picking up footprints and feeding doggies.
If I don't sub tomorrow I will have my Monday Morning Home Blessings to do on top of regular stuff. That includes changing sheets and flipping my couches' cushions. Sweeties B'day is this week and I have a few surprises I must gather together. My new car will be in at the end of the week so need to gather papers, my old car's title and stuff like that, to be ready. And like everyone else, I need to gather up my tax information so I will be spending a few hours extra at my desk as well.
Ya'll enjoy the day and I will cy'all later.
